Right after unboxing, I tried playing Mass Effect Andromeda on this machine (officially recommended GTX 1060). I did not measure the FPS, but it was playable at ultra graphic. I then popped in another stick of ram and a faster SSD, and now Mass Effect runs flawlessly.

Very good computer with great expandability. Runs online games very well and is more than enough for casual teenagers who game after homework. Immediately add in another 8gb RAM... And an additional SSD... And it specs out higher than the competition. Very very satisfied.

This computer definitely does the job, but I do have the problem of it freezing up, then having to restart it every now and again. Not too often though. I probably just need a better virus protection. One of the number keys did come off and I was unable to place it back. So the Keybord skin for this particular computer was very nice. I sometimes forget the piece is missing. It’s better to keep it plugged in because it only lasts a couple hours on the battery itself, as much as I expected for a gaming laptop. Overall I’m pleased since this was on the cheaper end on what was a good gaming laptop. It does very well if you are in school and looking for something to type efficiently and also game every now and again, I don’t think I would recommend it to a professional gamer, better to put the money into something that can handle that. But this laptop works well for me in particular.

touchpad is jittery and unresponsive, no matter how many drivers you update. It will freeze and not respond for 2-3 seconds and then work again just to be unresponsive again.

Processor holds this computer back.

internet disconnects randomly sometimes multiple times in a row track pad hardly works fans a very loud and this was never used hard

The fan is EXTREMELY loud. Im not a big gamer, I only play Skyrim. It looks amazing but after about 5-10 minutes of playing the game is so loud I need headphones to hear the game. The I have it sitting on a desk so ventilation isnt a problem. One of the reasons I bought this one was it boasted about having a quiet fan and this is pretty disappointing.

Got this as a replacement and figured it would be good for playing visual novels and whatnot. While it occasionally gets a blue screen when it gets overwhelmed, it outperforms my old computer for sure.
