I like this laptop as a whole. If I was to improve upon this, which personally I have. I would upgrade the battery, storage, cpu, and gpu. However they have models like so. For its price Id say its pretty solid as long as you dont need a battery and run plugged in part of the time. I wouldnt say its a bad thing, but I have to denote that. Ive had it for a month, and I put a Kingston 32GB 16x2 DDR4 2,666MHz CL15 Sodimm 240pin kit in it, a 1TB Samsung Evo 860 SSD, and its very easy to open and work with inside. I strongly suggest putting another ram chip inside for dual channel. Its very snappy and reliable. I hosted a 7 Days to Die server and hit just about 17GB usage in ram. I didnt even feel it performance wise. However for gaming, its not amazing. I can run The Witcher 3 in 1080p with most settings on high/ultra but it lacks in AAs, Shadows, and resolution in older games. Most of my games however are older and can run between 48-120 depending on the engine caps. Fallout 4 does not work for me. Fallout New Vegas on max runs about 55fps. Lets put it this way. The screen is 120Hz, but most games wont hit that in fps. It can run modern-ish titles but nothing ram (gpu ram) dependant. I.E 11GB = nope. At the end of the day Im happy with it. Ive had it long enough to leave a review and there ya go. If you want to get into entry level gaming for a laptop, this ones pretty solid.

Nice Keyboard and monitor is quite good

I did not buy this laptop from Amazon, but from another retailer. I am not saying that this is a bad laptop, in fact, I believe it is a pretty good laptop WHEN IT WORKS. Issues I had immediately after unboxing. Screen glitches all the time ( even after downloading drivers and reinstalled windows. Mouse pad really sucks!!! Fan noise is not uncommon on a gaming laptop, but this thing ramps to high speed constantly even when the laptop is sitting idle. Blue screen of death constantly. Im sure all of this is a bad hardware component and/or bad software. If you order one ( based on other reviews ), you may or may not get one that works out of the box. Scared me so much, I bought a different brand. Good luck!!

Awesome budget gaming laptop. Upgraded it to 32 gigs of ram and added a 1tb hybrid firecuda.

I really like this computer a lot. I bought it because I really like to play Sims games and play with custom content. It works really good for both. I can’t speak for higher demanding games but for basic usage and Sims with custom content and mods it is very good. Sims 1 through sims 4. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

touchpad is jittery and unresponsive, no matter how many drivers you update. It will freeze and not respond for 2-3 seconds and then work again just to be unresponsive again.

Out of the box this thing was okay. After adding another 8GB stick of RAM and a 1tb SSD it screams pretty good now. The only issue I have with it and I am not sure if it is a Windows problem is that when it returns from sleep it takes a while to reconnect to the Wi-Fi even though I have it set in the settings to never allow it to go to sleep. The screen is absolutely beautiful and so is the keyboard but within a couple weeks Im owning it the LEDs for the spacebar no longer light up, not a huge deal as Im not that into RGB and have kept it off lately but still something thats rated for 2 million keystrokes I figured the lights would last a bit longer. Performance-wise I get a good 58 FPS on high settings with Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

I use it for gaming. Good purchase!
