Storage and battery life are the only weak parts about this computer. Storage is only enough for a few decently sized games and the battery life is gonna last 1-4 hours depending on the mode you have it on and the requirements of the game.

It came fast but with an Intel i5 10300H. I read the listing as an AMD processor.

I bought this computer after gaming for years on old non-gaming laptops. This thing has performed wonderfully so far. I can play different games like CS:GO and Red Dead Redemption II without a problem. The price was great, too. After looking at other computers for weeks and comparing their specs and prices, I am glad that I chose this one. My only complaint is that while gaming, the fans can get pretty loud. Other than that I am super happy with it!

Overall i am satisfied by the TUF FX505DT. In almost every aspect it meets or exceeds my expectations. However the wireless adapter is unreliable at best. I know the issue lies with the adapter as EVERY other device (laptops, phones, desktops over wireless just to test) work 100% fine, no issues.

pros : it looks really nice. the keyboard colors look solid and the body on the laptop is solid. the screen being LCD still impresses me with the HD quality. and the processor is fairly fast.

Everything works wonderfully, the only drawback is that the wireless adapter installed with the laptop didnt work. This could just be a specific case scenario and that i just got a faulty hardware in 1 in a 100000 chance, but it is what it is. I had to buy a Netgear wireless adapter to attach to the laptop via USB and it connected to the internet perfectly fine after. It isnt a huge deal but for someone that maybe doesnt want to spend the extra 40 dollars for an adapter that should already be installed, it could be a negative. Again this could be a very low chance and that i got unlucky but something to keep in mind. Thanks!

I’ve bought and used a lot of laptops over the last few years and this one ranks near the top. The overall performance is very good and I’m able to play some hi-end games easily. That is, as long as I don’t run it on “silent mode”. And I don’t really need to anyway because this machine is quiet compared to others I’ve used. Best to reserve silent mode to non-resource-intensive applications like word processing. The keys feel good while typing, strong and well-built without that clacky noise. I also like the extra wide spacebar.
