> 3 dayPurchased this about a month ago and have used them literally EVERYDAY since. I have used cheap $20 headphones all my life and these were my first professional or studio grade headphones and the switch has been incredible. Ive heard new instruments and little additions in songs I have been listening to for years!

> 3 dayIve been using these headphones for about a year. I work the soundboard at my church and use these to mix the band and EQ the instruments and vocals. These arent noise canceling but they are amazing for a loud environment. On stage the the sound level is between 80-110dB and when I put these on I can clearly hear what I have cued. These headphones can twist and fold up into a pouch it comes with. The chord disconnects at the left side of the headphones which is great for storing the chord so it wont kink. It comes with a 1/4 adapter and two chords; coiled and straight (I use the coiled chord 99% of the time). These are comfortable on my head, they dont squeeze to hard, could wear for a long period. When I place them around my neck they feel a tad bulky, I cant look down without hitting my chin unless I flip the cans out. The material for around the ears is comfy. Would buy again and recommend to a friend

> 3 daycuando estaba buscando opciones para comprar este producto había muchas reseñas que decían que los materiales eran de muy mala calidad y que al moverlos hacían ruidos molestos pero los he estado probando por varios meses y aparte de ofrecer una calidad de audio muy buena, tienen una muy buena construcción.

> 3 dayFlimsy build, absolute joke for the price. Had these once, the swivel broke. Got a replacement from Amazon with minimal fuss(thank you for this). Same swivel, same failure point, this time after a shorter period of time. For context, these headphones were used with my desktop computer, and travelled to an office maybe 6 times across both sets. Am therefore concluding this is an issue with the build rather than with one particular pair. Not worth it.

> 3 dayThese were very uncomfortable. They might work for some people, but they put too much pressure on the top of my head and on my ears, no matter how much I adjusted them. There was no way I could wear them for more than a few minutes. I exchanged them for beyerdynamics, which fit me much better.

> 3 dayIm totally happy with these. I also have a pair of the ATH-M30x headphones. I use the M30x mostly with a set of electric drums. I liked them so much I decided to get the M40x to use at my desk at work. The M40x is definitely better, but not by leaps and bounds. I would say more than the sound significantly better the mostly have better physical features such as the ability to swap out the cord and ear cups that swivel a full 90 degrees. If you are mostly going to use them to listen to streaming music like Pandora, you may as well just get the M30x in my opinion.

> 3 dayI am very impressed with the sound quality. Details in music are fun to hear because many amps, speakers and listening environments dont allow for certain subtle nuances to make it into your ears. There is really nothing like piping those details right into your ears. These headphones are remarkably clear. You can hear all the details that are in the mix. It really brings a different feel to music than speakers do. I have a nice amp and speakers as well, and headphones are no substitute for the soundstaging that a 2.1 channel system offers. You simply dont perceive sound with headphones in the same way...it is not directional like it is with speakers..., so you dont get the same feel of space with headphones that you do with speakers. It is just different. Equally pleasing, if not more so, but in a different way. Anyway, these are great headphones! Much more evenly balanced than Beats. Hard to imagine that people pay so much for inaccurate sound reproduction when they can get spot on audio for only $99.
