Having a premium factory stereo in your vehicle can often times be considered anything but premium. A lot of vehicles that have a factory subwoofer, no matter how weak or under powered it may be, will set the crossovers on all other speakers in the car so high that you will not get any low end output of them at all. This was exactly the case with my 14 Dodge Journey with Premium Alpine system. The beauty of the LC7i, is that you can set it to take input from all of your speaker leads (dash speakers, door speakers, and subwoofer) and sum them all together, and then give full range of output to all speakers. The difference this makes with my dash and door speakers in night and day. I actually have low end from them now!

This is a lot of money to pay for a LOC but I can tell you its worth it. The sound is perfect and the unit is incredibly well built. Its amazing and worth every penny. If you are wanting to keep your stock Head Unit do yourself a favor and buy the quality option the first time around.

Installed in my 2017 Focus ST to feed a 5 channel amp (R600X5) pushing four 6.5 door woofers, two tweeters and a 12 sub, easy to set up and tune. A tip: make sure youre using QUALITY wiring, cheap RCAs will hum, whistle, hiss, and pop. Pony up the 15 bux and get quality cables. Another tip, if you only have 2 channels (front and rear) coming from your stock head unit, the LC7i will sum channel 2 into channel 3 to feed your sub, no fancy tricks needed. Plug and play. Final tip, read the manual. I lold and you will too.

Easy to connect and the GTO turn on works great on my F150. Like the box says, makes good sound great. I recommend getting the volume knob for channels 5 & 6 when connected to a sub amp. Possibly the most important tip for the DIY’er - Most factory systems have the most amount of bass in which to use. To take advantage of this connect the front channels to inputs 3 & 4 and the rears to 1 & 2. Just remember that 3 & 4 are front and that 1 & 2 are rear when connecting an amp and speakers so the fader works correctly.

This thing works amazing. It took my 2017 ram 1500 factory radio and processed the signal perfectly. My only gripe is the connections on the top just feel loose. But they seem to work thus far.

Great line out converter for anyone putting together a serious car audio system that intend to retain their stock radio. I used this for my Ford F-150 and just tucked it under the rear seat compartment. It handles my Pioneer D-Series 6x9 component speakers and my Pioneer 6.5 A-Series 4-way speakers which run a total of 380 watts RMS. Very clean sound with some interesting adjustments that can be made if you pull the faceplate off and play with the board inside. You can adjust grounding settings, which channels you use (and you can combine channels if you’d prefer) and control whether you want dedicated subwoofer channels or not. For the price I wish it came with EQ controls (or perhaps make the exact same unit with a 7+ band EQ component for an extra $30 or so). It would be nice to have that extra control in one unit as I’ll have to add a separate unit right now for more money and use up more space. But I get to keep my Ford SYNC 3 head unit and all that connects to it and that’s a decent deal. Right now I just have a 4-channel speaker system setup on it but intend to add some subs down the line for my underneath second row spot. What’s really cool is you don’t NEED to use the remote in or out connections if you have power coming into the speaker level inputs as it’ll detect the power and turn on automatically. It’s a cool device for ppl wanting to do some more nuanced installs with aftermarket amps and keep that low end that topically rolls off when you turn up the volume.
