> 3 dayThis is an EXCELLENT LOC!!! If you have a stock stereo that cant be removed because of your stock configuration, this gadget will allow you to add amps to your stereo & allow you to upgrade your speakers & subwoofers to something more suited towards your listening pleasure. My 12-year old Infiniti came equipped with the Bose 14-speaker system, and it started showing its age. After getting quoted over $1100 at a local stereo shop to add some high-tech, programmable LOCs/sound processors to my stereo, INCLUDING charging me to install MY OWN AMPS, I decided to do it myself. Was it difficult? No. Ive installed the last 4 audio upgrades to my car by myself. Was it hard work? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely!!! Now I have a 6-speaker system thats far superior to the Bose system. Sure, I dont have all the bells & whistles of the system the stereo shop wanted to install for me, but do I need all that in a 12-year-old car? I dont think so. My car sounds great for a fraction of what they wanted me to spend, and I have the satisfaction of knowing that when people compliment me on how good my car sounds, I can tell them that I did it myself, and its all thanks to AudioControl! Couldnt have done it without you!!!

Greater than one weekHad in my 5th gen camaro for a couple years and no problems at all. My sub started sounding weak, so I decided to repeak my system with a voltmeter and reset gains etc. I turned the bass level knob for the LC7i down, and my sub amp instantly went to protection mode and never came out. I removed it and bench tested it and it’s smoked. Purchased a new amp, installed it and before connecting the sub I checked to make sure there was no bass boost and the second the bass knob moved- smoked a brand new expensive amp. Dayton DSP will replace the LC7i and it will hit the trash. I still have an ESP2 from AudioControl that still works- and it’s almost 20 years old!

> 3 day2012 hyundai sonata w nav system: Pros: Works for integration mounts easily Phone support Cons: Wish it came with control knob May need someone certified to work out kinks. Summary: After my wife stated the oem head unit wasnt to be changed, my journey trying to clean up distortion began. The oem head unit and oem amp made things difficult. The end result is the distortion is still there.... no fault of the unit, just thought it would have solved the issue. Money go bye bye. new systems with external amps are not the best quality, distortion may be an issue at the source. If you dont have distortion prior, you will be pleased with the outcome.

> 3 dayThis is by far the best the number 1 thing you need of you are trying to install aftermarket amp and speakers into a new car without having to take the factory radio out of it. New cars and trucks don’t come with RCA’s to hookup an amp and most higher end cars and trucks have the signal already crossed over so that it works well with the factory speakers they put in. Without this, there’s no way o put the signal together after it’s been crossed over. Extremely happy with this purchase. Thank you again

> 3 dayThis thing works amazing. It took my 2017 ram 1500 factory radio and processed the signal perfectly. My only gripe is the connections on the top just feel loose. But they seem to work thus far.
