I have had smaller rods for a long time, but these are killers! BIG sparks, instant fire!

These throw a shower of sparks, especially with the 90 degree spine of a carbon-steel knife. I pair them with simple strikers and a paracord wrap and give them to friends.

This product far exceeds my expectations. I got these expecting identical ferro rods. But the one small detail one is softer than the other which throws thick burning sparks and the other is a little harder and throws smaller amounts. that may just be dumb luck. But having one thatll work fine in normal conditions and one thatll exceed in inclement weather.
