A lot of Ferro rod material for a good price. Scrape off the protective paint over the area you are scraping for sparks, and push hard with the back of a knife against the rod, and a shower of sparks will be produced.

Yep! These are professional grade fire starters! I’ve used many over the years but these are the heftiest and heaviest I’ve ever owned. I have a cutting horse blade S&W pocket knife with a serrated blade that will send fire and brimstone into the sky like the 4th of July. I ain’t lying. I even made a video to prove it.
