> 3 dayI dont see that it needs cleaning less often than a regular aquarium however. Its nice not having to net the fish.

> 3 dayLove my biorb tank. I have the 16 gallon, and these service kits are wonderful. I have not found any in stores near me, and am glad they are available here on amazon, and hope that they continue to be. I just do a 1/3 water change, change the filter and am good to go. I change the filter about every 8 weeks. If it becomes super dirty earlier, I just rinse it off, and put it back in...does the trick.

> 3 dayThese are filters. Basically foam. But if you have a Biorb, you need them. But within the last couple months, theyve gone from $6.50 to over $13. Outrageous...

> 3 dayIts a fish filter. It does its job. Why the hell it is inset in the bottom of the tank and not through the middle of the tube or something I dont know. It is a pain in the arse to keep the rocks out and get the base snapped back in. And if you have a planted tank, which is hard but doable, its really hard to see and make sure you arent hurting any of your animals. If the base portion was a little higher or the bottom half of the tub instead of the base it would be easier and just as effective.
