Greater than one weekWorks very well for my 8 gallon biorb the reason I gave it a 2 was it came in a plastic envelope and my filter holder came cracked.. this was my 1st purchase for this filter very unhappy the way they shipped it should come in a box..

> 3 dayWhat I really like about this service kit, is it takes a lot of the hassle out of maintaining your fish tank. I change my filter every 2 weeks. This kit comes with the filter, a small cleaning cloth to use on the inside of the tank and water conditioner. Boom.....done.

> 3 dayI read the review about having trouble with the filter. Do these two things, I hope they help. When you replace the filter, be sure the top is on tight, then let it fill up a bit by tipping gently. When you put it into its place in the tank, be sure all the rocks are out, then rotate counter clockwise until it is tight. Takes some practice. Biorb made the filter cover and the tank clasps go in opposite directions and sometimes when you seat one, the other comes apart.

Greater than one weekWe have a biorb and the filters require frequent changing. The service kits are very reasonably priced and much easier to replace than changing all the chemicals yourself.

> 3 dayWas pleased with what’s included In the kit. Biorbs tend to stay a little cleaner than other tanks depending on the fish you choose so a multipack didn’t make sense to me
