BLACK+DECKER Steam Mop, White (HSM13E1)

This is easy to use and it works really well. We love it.

The mop only picks up dirt where the pad is attached with velcro. Pad looked like this after mopping an entry hall, a half bath, and part of the kitchen. I’ve had furniture movers in an out of the house and contractors too. Disappointing especially because l have always trusted the Black & Decker.

I replaced the first one I got via Amazon because it apered used. There was some water in the container and the handle appeared dirty. The replacement I received ALSO had water droplets in the container???? Its unfair, nowhere in the description does it say that this is a used or a refubrised item. I ended up keeping the second one because I really needed it. But I am not a satisfied customer. This is something that should be in the description!

This steam mop is poorly designed. It only has one hook to wrap the extremely short cord.

I think this is better than using a Swiffer Wet Jet because you get the steam to kill bacteria and a washable microfiber pad. Having to work with a power cord is a small price for good cleaning.

Kills 99 percent germs etc. very light. No chemicals needed just steam!

Not so much for the cord length or the operating buttons. This is a plain Jane steamer. It steams like it should. But to move it, you have to pick it up or bend down. If you are older, picking it up would be the way to go, which is also needed to put water in it. Of course, when you pick it up, if you have been using it and need to move it, so that the steam is still hot, you are going to feel that steam on your feet or other places. I can barely get the areas covered before I have to change outlets.

I have had better steam mops. The cord is long, thick and heavy. It doesnt maneuver very well and the pads are flimsy and already coming apart. I expected better from this brand. Not impressed at all.

Definitely cleans the floors nice would probably recommend washing or cleaning the floors twice with this

this is pretty good steam mop for the price. the only thing i dont like is it only comes with one cleaning pad that isnt very absorbent. but overall it works pretty well. the plastic is pretty cheap so i feel like i have to be careful taking it apart to refill with water, etc.
