> 3 dayThis steam mop is awful. It doesnt stand on its own, so you have to lean it against a wall when not in use. The cord is so short I cant do my full kitchen without having to plug it into another outlet. HATE it!

> 3 dayThe steam is good but the cord is too short which adds more work having to unplug and replug to clean other sides of the house. It’s tiring could’ve have been better.

Greater than one weekThis is definitely a lower-end steam mop but it does work. I only use this in my bathrooms as I dont really want to steam my hardwood. I use it on tile and then I have one laminate bathroom. Its a very good thing This is the only place I use it because thats the only place I can plug it in and have the cord be long enough. Have very small bathrooms as this is an older home. It does really thoroughly clean your floor and with small children, that is very good thing. I dont love the fact that I cant or havent figured out how to remove the water reservoir as its kind of a pain. Its got a good swivel head so it easily cleans around toilets and cabinets. It cleans so well, the first time I used it I couldnt believe how filthy the mop pad was. I have a bona floor cleaner and that only came with one mop pad so I was not surprised that there was only one in this box. It would make life easier if there were more than one however. Overall, if I were using this anywhere other than my bathrooms I would have a real problem with the cord length. It does clean well and is relatively inexpensive and comparison to many other steam mops.

> 3 dayI’m always reluctant to purchase anything on Amazon with zero customer reviews but I took a chance. This is the third steamer I’ve owned and it’s ok. Not great. Not terrible. Just ok. Pros: good price. on/off button and steam button. Good height so I don’t have to hunch over. Seems sturdy. Cons: you have to hold under faucet to fill water reservoir. Power Cord is too short and I have to use an extension cord. Only comes with one pad. In short, It works but floors have been cleaner with other steamers I’ve owned.

> 3 dayIm really surprised with this Black and Decker steam mop, and not in a good way. The mop is so stripped down. It functions, but its really lacking. -You get 1 mop pad. It is so thin and cheap it feels disposable. The mop pad sticks with a velcro-like strip onto the bottom of the mop head. Its not a very good pad at all and it just doesnt feel secure enough to really clean well. I actually had better luck using bonnet style steam mop pads that fit over the whole mop head. I had some left over from an old steam mop and they seemed to work better than what came with the Black and Decker mop. Also interesting is that the mop pad that this came with wasnt even the striped pads it shows on the box and in the listing images. I got a solid white pad that is super thin. -The mop is not free standing, it falls over if you dont prop it against something. -The water tank is built into the body of the steamer. If you dont have deep sinks, its a total hassle to fill. The instructions says not to leave water in it, so it is also annoying to empty if you have water left over in it when you are done mopping since you have to tip the whole mop. - The cord is short. REALLY way too short. Its frustrating to have to unplug this and find another outlet just to make it across the room. -The back of the steam mop has 1 hook to hang the cord. There is no bottom cord keeper to loop it around. Why so stripped down? -To make the 1 cord keeper hook situation even worse, the end of the plug has no prong on it to snap it onto the cord when you are done wrapping it to keep everything in place. Seriously, how are you supposed to keep the cord in order on this, short of tying it in a knot? ------------------------------------------------------ On the plus side, the machine is easy to use. -It has one switch to turn the steam mop on and another switch to turn the steam function on/off. -The handle is pretty comfortable to use and it puts out a decent amount of steam. -Its lightweight. -It can safely be used on hardwood and tile floors. Overall, it WORKS, but there are a lot of little things that make this feel like Black and Decker really skimped on the design and make it troublesome to use. If you are on a tight budget, this does work, but its almost better just to save for an upgrade since you will immediately have to make an additional purchase for more mop pads with this model anyway. Mediocre.

> 3 dayThis black + decker steam mop is very lightweight, super easy to put together, and moves around easily. I like how it uses just water and a plug. No fancy attachments. It does a great starting steaming in less than a minute. It absolutely makes the floor clean and looks better to walk on. The mop is not free-standing, it falls over if you dont prop it against something, the cord is a little short, cord wrapping /storage is a little weird and it only comes with one pad.

> 3 daySo far this little steamer seems to be doing great & it’s lighter than the Shark I love but that isn’t available any more.

> 3 dayIt really starts steaming right away. The cord is really too short to do more than one room at a time and you cannot store the cord on the actual unit which I find funny.
