The noise cancelation works very well on these headphones and the sound quality is fine enough for me. The 1 star review is for all other aspects of these extremely cheaply made headphones. The construction is extremely flimsy plastic that feel on par with a bargain bin pair, and the cheap plether insulating cups blew out on me in less than 2 years of moderate use, and the adjustable band essentially does not lock into place due to the cheap design so it slides all over the place if using these headphones while in motion. Bluetooth range is approximately 6 feet in open air. That isnt an exaggeration, and it makes me wonder if I received a defective product. Sometimes the Bluetooth fails if I simply put my phone in my pocket. The included charging cable is comically short to the point of being near useless. I would have been happy with these headphones had I paid $50 or less for them. Maybe Im out of touch with what $350 (purchased in 2019) should get you in the world of headphones? This is a very cheaply designed product and one of my most regretted purchases Ive ever made.

I had QC15s for years and loved them. Then got burned buying a second used pair on Ebay that didnt last and then a new pair that turned out to be fake. Fake QC15s are rampant on Ebay, beware. Anyway, got a pandemic-related work bonus to improve my home office and spent some of it on QC 35s after having had Sennheisir PXC 550s for about a year and a half. As soon as I got the QC 35s I remembered why I loved Bose, and all the small annoyances of the PXCs (which I really tried to like and talk myself into) immediately disappeared. Clear, detailed, neutral sound. Very solid noise cancelling. Great fit, lightness, comfort and wearability. And, very much unlike the finicky Sennheiser pair, rock solid Bluetooth connecting and maintaining connection, as well as totally reliable multiple-device connection. The QCs connect quickly, stay connected, and connect to my phone and either of two laptops or all at once. No more time wasted on the PXCs disconnecting, not connecting, etc. QC35 bonus, they also work great as wired headphones and dont need power - no loss of volume and same sound quality. So, basically every feature and attribute I want in a headphone in 2021.

I only had the Bose QuietComfort 35 II for about a week before I sent them back. The bass quality wasnt what they said it would be so I upgraded to the Sony WH1000XM3 Noise Cancelling Headphones. I truly love the Sony WH1000XM3 the features are excellent and they are much better than the Bose QuietComfort 35 II.

FOR DESIGN,, EASE OF USE, COMFORT AND DURABILITY THESE EARPHONES GET A 5 STAR RATING. BUT FOR NOISE CANCELING ONLY 2 STARS. BOSE, SONY AND OTHER HIGH END EARPHONE MANUFACTURERS ADVERTISE THESE TYPE OF EARPHONES AS NOISE CANCELLING. THEY ARE NOT. THEY ARE NOISE REDUCING EARPHONES. SO FOR $300 -- $350 WE DONT GET NOISE CANCELING. ITS LIKE BUYING A PLANE TICKET TO NYC BUT IT ONLY GOES TO CHICAGO. AMERICA GREED LIVES ON AND ON. FALSE ADVERTISING?

I have owned these for one year now and I can say it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I have no idea how I used to travel on airplanes without these. I love the noise cancellation, on top of the excellent sound quality, durable construction, and battery life. These are certainly not cheap but they are worth the money and in this day and age I feel like it is rare to get something worth the money, but you really do get what you pay for with these.

Nice noise cancellation. Comfortable. But it makes me dizzy at the first one or two days. It gets better afterwards.
