The earpads are a bit firmer than the original Sonys earpads. This helps reduces ears fatigue since most of the compression is distributed evenly around the ears and not on the earlobes.

Ive had a pair of Sony V6 headphones for maybe 10 years now. I was still using the original ear pads which had really degraded. After spending a lot of time shopping for a new pair of headphones, I got frustrated with the number of choices out there and decided to give these ear pads a shot instead. Wow, the sound quality difference after installing the new ear pads is amazing. I highly recommend to replace your earpads before you go and spend a lot of money on a new pair of headphones. You might be surprised at the difference they can make.

My old ear pads were falling apart so it was time to replace them. These are nice and comfortable with equal sound quality. The only down side of these were that they were hard ti install, Once mounted on they were GREAT!!!

Got these for my old Sony MDR7506 headphones and they were easy to install and so far are very comfortable.

works fine on my sony MDR 7506 would alsoo work mdvr6 sony headphones as well. i recommend the pinhole replacements and not the solid smooth leather ones.they make your ears sweat after an extended session.

Not suitable for noisy or windy situations. Very comfortable good replacement if isolation isnt an issue.
