I use the manual sheet feeder very often and it constantly jams on the 1st page feed. Probably about 90% of the time it jams.

Perhaps the first dozen or so pages printed cleanly. After than, toner smudges on every page getting worse with each page. My current total page count is only 127! I have no interest in wasting my time with Brothers customer support (as many other reviews have suffered) and I waited too long to send it back. Since I dont do a lot of printing, it took some time before I had printed those first dozen or so pages. Congratulations, Brother! Another disposable appliance and you took my money for it.

This printer does everything that I want. Its fast and works fine in my network. I have Windows 10, 7, Vista and XP computers on the network and they all work with this printer.

I bought this printer for occasional use and have regretted it. It leaks toner over the first page or two of most print jobs. After that, everything looks great and its a nice fast printer. However, if it sits for any length of time above about 5-10 minutes, it happens again on the next print job. I bought a new toner cartridge thinking that would fix the problem, but naively waited a few months before installing it. The new cartridge is doing the exact same thing. I contacted Brother, who told me the problem is with the toner cartridge, but of course I bought this cartridge more than 90 days ago so its now out of warranty and theres nothing they can do about. By the time I need a new toner cartridge the printer itself will be out of warranty... Theres no way I am buying another toner cartridge when I know its going to do the same thing. Especially when the printer itself cost less than 2 toner cartridges to begin with. I intend to throw this printer in the dumpster and find a new brand.

Fast, reliable and have had no problems with this printer. I have purchased 5 of them over last 2 years for our 45 person office and they are perfect for that volume of use.

I have only had this printer for one year and it is barely printing anymore. It has black ink spots all over the pages, the page numbers on the bottom of the page are not printing and there is black ink all along the side of the page. I have been trying to go through support and I have tried cleaning every different part. Nothing has helped. I am so frustrated!

Fast and reliable thus far. Was snap to integrate into my network. I never often give a five on tech. This one is close. It does click the right boxes. Speed print quality. A bit noisy though. Easy to use even from my tablet and smartphone. Both Android systems. Will be looking to do content share and a good fast printer is great to have. Also no more inkjet. Overall very happy with performance. I had another Brother before too and it did well too.

Replaced old HP LaserJet. This is a much better unit. It uses separate toner and drum.

I only use this printer occasionally. At first it printed great. But after several months, it started to print dirty pages. This is the result of the drum unit going bad. Ive printed somewhere around 150 pages total. Ive had brother printers before and they lasted a long time. This one is very disappointing. Brother needs to improve the quality of their drum units.
