This printer does everything that I want. Its fast and works fine in my network. I have Windows 10, 7, Vista and XP computers on the network and they all work with this printer.

Fast and reliable thus far. Was snap to integrate into my network. I never often give a five on tech. This one is close. It does click the right boxes. Speed print quality. A bit noisy though. Easy to use even from my tablet and smartphone. Both Android systems. Will be looking to do content share and a good fast printer is great to have. Also no more inkjet. Overall very happy with performance. I had another Brother before too and it did well too.

Ya know I’ve had two of these.... both of them have terrible print quality... it will duplicate the header of a page to the center of the page... i tried alcohol, wiping the drum, etc... Junk. I’m done with the Brother brand. I print about 150,000 documents a year. I would recommend investing a few more bucks into something more reputable

This is the 7th Brother printer that we have in our office. Previously I have used HP, Lexmark, Dell, Ricoh and Canon printers. In my, in my experience Brother are the most reliable and trouble free printers. After about 4 - 5 years, they start giving you error messages like replace parts, replace drum etc. That is usually the time to replace the printer. At 42 ppm, this is a fast and 250 page capacity printer. Print quality is not the best but decent and acceptable. Cost of printing per page is low. Brother toners are generally lot more expensive and on Amazon, you can find cheaper toners and ink from other aftermarket manufacturers. The high capacity 8000 pages Brother TN850 toner for this printer is currently priced $108 at Amazon, which translates to 1.35 cents per page and if you buy after market toner, it will be even less expensive. The printer is easy to set up. Wired network connection is trouble free. I have not used this printer with wireless setup but based on my past experience, wireless connections are not as stable and off and on you may have to re-establish WiFi connection again or reset the network connection. You can also print from your mobile device. An optional second tray can be attached. Changing settings from small monochrome screen is not easy but lot of the settings can be changed from web page using the printers IP address. In my experience, Brothers technical support is not that good, their tech support reps are not knowledgeable and well trained about products. This is a fast and reasonably priced printer for a small office.

Fast shipping. I thought mobile printing meant wireless, but not so. The printer works great, does two sided without having to flip paper. Clear printing, fairly easy to set up

I bought this printer for occasional use and have regretted it. It leaks toner over the first page or two of most print jobs. After that, everything looks great and its a nice fast printer. However, if it sits for any length of time above about 5-10 minutes, it happens again on the next print job. I bought a new toner cartridge thinking that would fix the problem, but naively waited a few months before installing it. The new cartridge is doing the exact same thing. I contacted Brother, who told me the problem is with the toner cartridge, but of course I bought this cartridge more than 90 days ago so its now out of warranty and theres nothing they can do about. By the time I need a new toner cartridge the printer itself will be out of warranty... Theres no way I am buying another toner cartridge when I know its going to do the same thing. Especially when the printer itself cost less than 2 toner cartridges to begin with. I intend to throw this printer in the dumpster and find a new brand.
