17-11-2024easily connected to our wired network. I have problems with wireless brother printers in the past so I didnt get that. Found immediately by windows for simple printing. Had to install the brother printer driver from the disc to get the full function of the multiple tray printing (I bought two LT5500 trays). Working great so far and it is pretty fast with 18 seconds to first page out from full sleep mode. next print job had the first page out in about 7 or 8 seconds. Its a keeper, so I better go buy some more toner. Havent set up the amazon dash yet, but may not use it.

Greater than one weekI was using a inkjet printer for my business which is great for color prints and I still use but then my online sales began taking off and I was printing shipping labels like crazy. The price of inkjet ink was killing me and the slow print times. After a month I purchased this printer on Amazon. WOW it prints crazy fast and over the last year I printed 10,000 envelopes, 500 package slip and paper invoices, and college papers for my teenager. My best guess is 15,000 prints and I havent changed a cartage yet and have had very few misprints. I would buy this again I am incredibly happy with this purchase.

Greater than one weekOrdered and delivered by Amazon as promised. I presumed it was a wireless network printer. Instructions include procedure for connecting wireless. However, neither software nor printer input provided for connection to WLAN, despite clear instructions to do so. Contacted Brother customer service by chat. He said unit was not designed for wireless connection. Either the unit is misrepresented by Brother or customer service rep was ill-informed. I am reasonably computer savvy and have experience connecting previous printer to my wi-fi for mobile printing, so this whole experience was crazy. Returned unit to Amazon. Next printer will not be a Brother.

> 3 dayAfter twelve years my old Brother laser printer died. I wanted the same but they are no longer made. Yet for half the price, I got the latest, though larger, printer from Brother to replace my most reliable printer in my office. Hard to believe that my first laser printer 30 years ago cost a couple of thousand and put out 4 ppm after it took several minutes to compile a page. This one was less than a couple of hundred and spits out pages by the ream!

> 3 dayBig drawback to using this printer in a work environment is it cant feed NCR (carbonless) paper from the multipurpose tray. It pulls in 2 or 3 sheets at a time. It will properly feed carbonless from the main tray.
