> 3 dayAfter just a few pages of printing, it is already getting ink all over the page, spots everywhere. It is as if there is a leak in the toner cartridge. Horrible printer.

> 3 dayThis printer does great black and white printing. The only issues is the amount of power that it draws. My electrical circuit is 15AMPS and with the printer and other office equipment running on the same circuit I have tripped the circuit breaker several times. Otherwise the printer works well, is reliable and, easy to set up and operate.

> 3 dayHave use Brother monochrome laser printers for years in my legal business. I recommend them because they can use high volume toner cartridges which I get from a reputable supplier with good non-brand name products at an extremely reasonable price. I print out a lot of documents, legal research materials, etc. and dont like spending excessive quantities of money on high cost toner cartridges from traditional office supply stores.

> 3 dayAfter a little more than 12 months, this printer simply stopped working. The error button lights up red and gives you no option to clear or fix or diagnose the problem.

> 3 dayI had the predecessor to this unit and it was a great printer. It lasted 11 years. Rather than buy a $200 drum for it I chose to upgrade to this printer. It is very much like the previous one only much faster. A tad bit bigger which isnt a problem. I highly recommend it !

> 3 dayAfter twelve years my old Brother laser printer died. I wanted the same but they are no longer made. Yet for half the price, I got the latest, though larger, printer from Brother to replace my most reliable printer in my office. Hard to believe that my first laser printer 30 years ago cost a couple of thousand and put out 4 ppm after it took several minutes to compile a page. This one was less than a couple of hundred and spits out pages by the ream!

> 3 dayThis is just the latest Brother laser printer Ive bought for my business. Generally they work ok but this one has exhibited printing problems since first use. I bought this so we can print clean labels to affix to various products, since our work horse Brother HL-L6200DW printer inevitably get gummed up from printing shipping labels but its not a big deal there. This HL-L5100DN has struggled with labels in every respect from first use: • labels in the multipurpose (MP) tray frequently mis-feed • labels are usually coated in a gray toner haze across the entire 8.5x11 sheets. Of course I am using the correct Brother printer driver and label settings. But no combination of settings and/or cleaning the drum fixes the issue. Transitioning to printing the same labels on my HL-L6200DW was giving clean output, until I replaced the drum in that unit and quality went down the toilet. Oh Brother.
