What a hassle! Usually this is happens with non original cartridges. I spent quite a bit of compressed air and time cleaning up this mess and then I changed it out for one I bought as a backup. When I finally got around to calling Brother Customer Service they told me it was one day past the 90 day warranty and I was out of luck! I asked for a manager and was put on hold for 20 minutes. I feel bad for Brother, they must really be hurting for cash… (e_e) EDIT: I called back a few times and found a different agent with a different attitude. They were willing to send me a replacement cartridge. Thats the proper response… you win three additional stars.

The Wifi connection will not hold and must constantly reboot.

The title really should be updated to make it more obvious and very clear that this is black ink only. The set up was easy and the printing is crisp and clear. I need very small font printed and to be legible at as low as 6, 5, and 4 font size and this works great for that; I own two inkjet printers and for those font sizes the low cost printer completely fails at that task and the more expensive one is okay. Now that I own this printer I can print at home instead of paying for printing services at the local office supply stores printing shop. If you just want any old printer to print basic things compare the cost of not just the machine but the cost of the replacement toner as laser is more expensive and it may be an unnecessary high expense. I am glad this can print from mobile devices. Rated 5 stars = I Love It.

So far after a month, a sold workhorse, no issues.

I absolutely love this printer! Fast, and not one single problem with any print job. It holds a bunch of paper that will last quite awhile along with the toner cartridge. Wish it would print color, but this is great for printing documents, coloring pages for kids, and even labels. Another excellent Brother printer!

Zero stars is not an option when reviewing products and services. Do Not buy this printer made in Vietnam. I plugged it in straight out of the box following instructions and all of my electronics, lights and everything that was plugged in surged with power spike. Tried many different power outlets and even tried using a power strip with same results. Waste of my time! Sending back to Amazon for refund!

My cannon copier broke after 20 years. Please do not buy this if your looking for a copier. I misread that and now Im out of the $320 I spent for Brother HL-L5200DW with the toner and warranty (which never came).

Brother put out only the best and their customers service unit very good since it supports its product as long as you own it.Great machine!!!
