> 3 dayIts amazing, in 2016, there arent too many wireless LASER printers. Of the models available, the number one complaint is wireless connection issues. Great, the one thing you want it to do, it doesnt do well. Brother wireless laser printers are no different. This is one of their newer models, and it seems to be OK after 2 weeks of heavy use. Brother laser printers are generally rock-solid workhorses. This one seems no different. You can connect it via USB 2 (not 3 in 2016?) if you have wireless issues. The set-up is kinda straight forward, but I recommend ignoring the CD, and go to the Brother website and get the latest S/W, and Firmware Upgrade tool. Its all pretty easy, except the wireless set-up is a bit clunky. When it asks you for your wireless routers Network Key , and shows you where to find it on your router, its all nonsense. Just use your password and all is well. Yo Brother, maybe consider changing the set-up language so I could be finished in 3 min, rather that 15, because I had to Google what the heck my my Apple AirPort Extreme network key means with regard to Brother wireless printer set-up! One bloke said just use your password... BINGO!

It didnt work after a couple of weeks. They insist I try cleaning it again, then try. It doesnt work. Now it is drawing a long black line along the edge. Dont get it

> 3 dayLoved my first Brother. Bought 2 of these for the office. After a few months, they both alarm out with low toner message. Put in new toner and still cant reset. I assume theres a bad sensor in the loop somewhere. Save your money and buy a more reliable machine.

> 3 dayThis is the most entry level of the small office laser machines from Brother that has wi-fi. The L5100DW does not have wi-fi. We have an additional individual laser printer that works great for one PC as well. The setup was super easy on Windows 10. There is an installation CD which was very user friendly. We set up three office PCs to this one printer with no problems. The toner lasts a long time - we typically use the high capacity toner and it lasts for at least a carton of paper (typically longer) so the 8000 page claim is probably accurate. Printing is fast and the duplex printing very quick and saves paper. This is a basic, no frills machine, but it does the job. I prefer the Brother laser printer/copier combos, but this is a very good machine for basic black and white printing needs for small offices / home offices.

> 3 dayI have bought 3 of these to replace office desktop printers, and so far I have not heard anything negative. No news is good news. They were easy to set up, and the print quality is good. Would buy it again.

Greater than one weekThe Brother HL-L5200DW Laser Printer replaced a Lexmark E260DN. The Brother HL-L5200DW does everything the Lexmark E260DN did and more. LAN setup was easy. I did not setup WiFi.

> 3 dayWe print multiple labels each day and go through a couple printers a year. We like to try different makes and models to see which ones print the best and are the most durable. We had problems from this one conveniently enough, soon after it was too late to return it. The image drum picks up to much debris off the toner cartridge and the label sheets. We have to clean the image unit daily with a cotton swab and alcohol (as per brother tech support). This has been quite the chore and has not been required with other printers. We have wasted quite a lot of sheet labels due to poor quality printing. Couldnt take it out of service fast enough. For us, this unit was money well wasted.
