Brother Monochrome Laser Printer, HL-L5200DW, Wireless Networking, Mobile Printing, Duplex Printing, Amazon Dash Replenishment Ready

I read a few horror stories with Wifi set up in the Amazon reviews, but had no such issue. Instructions were very clear, Wifi set up easy and straight forward with my three PCs - Windows v10. Print quality great. Seems like some have complained about print quality after several months of use. Well see how it goes.

This is the first negative review I have had the unhappy pleasure of posting. I have downloaded the latest driver and firmware for this printer, but it will not print Adobe Acrobat files properly. Prints gibberish. I spent an hour on the phone with Brother and their final recommendation was to contact Adobe as it was their problem. There is no phone support for Adobe Acrobat Reader, so simply out of luck. If this is an issue for you, I would stay away from this machine and the other newly released products in this of series. Otherwise I have found no other issues with the printer. Until the Adobe issue is fixed I cannot recommend this printer. Update 11/30/16 This problem has finally been resolved, but not without frustration. I finally gave up on phone and email support, but instead contacted Brothers headquarters directly. Within twenty minutes I received a phone call from their techincal group who accessed my computer, troubleshot the problem, and came up with a solution within five minutes. It had something to do with the bon jour connection between my computer and the printer. He helped me install the product by accessing the printers address directly. The printer has worked flawlessy from that point on. As I previously noted, the printer was great, I could simply not print PDF files. I can now recommend this printer and gave it five stars.

Zero stars is not an option when reviewing products and services. Do Not buy this printer made in Vietnam. I plugged it in straight out of the box following instructions and all of my electronics, lights and everything that was plugged in surged with power spike. Tried many different power outlets and even tried using a power strip with same results. Waste of my time! Sending back to Amazon for refund!

Never could use this item - plug it in a the circuit breaker blows. I have tried multiple outlets. Any suggestions After many attempts - pulled this printer apart, noticed a solder joint on one of the wires that looked dull. pulled out the solder gun and redid the joint. Unit has not blown a circuit breaker since. Brother has the worst support attitude I ever faced, never will I venture down the relationship road again. BROTHER, someone is getting a working printer for how long guess they can ask BROTHER.

I have a home base business and use two printers. This is my main workhorse and I particularly like it since they finally designed it to accommodate a full ream of paper (500 sheets) instead of a puny 250. Its advertised as a business printer so at least 500 sheet capacity makes sense. It has worked flawlessly so far .

great computer

This printer has serious issues staying connected to wi-fi. It goes into deep sleep and cant maintain a connection to wi-fi. Which means I had to do wireless setup again. I did. Immediately upon unplugging it and moving it to another office, it connects to the internet for approximately 45 seconds before dropping connection. Ive never been so disappointed with a brother printer before.

Sweet simple and works right out of the box with no hassle. Ive been using it for about a month now and has given me zero problems. Love this printer.

An excellent home laser printer. I use it connected to my small home (upstairs, downstairs) network, and it works fine.

High quality printer, very easy to set up,good instructions. Seems to stay connected wireless lyrics. Finally a good printer, prints in different quality as you select, good menu on print commands, excellent Mobil software so phone printing is a breeze, clever approach to mobile print. Pc print software is also easy and solid.
