    My cannon copier broke after 20 years. Please do not buy this if your looking for a copier. I misread that and now Im out of the $320 I spent for Brother HL-L5200DW with the toner and warranty (which never came).

    This is an excellent monochrome laser printer. It is network-ready and usb ready, your choice. It prints rapidly and in one-sided or duplex. It replaces a 1997 vintage Laserjet 6MP. I hope it lasts as long!

    If it is plugged in its fine. WIRELESS it cant connect to any thing! All of the Im a notary reviews talked me into getting it because Im a notary as well. I have to delete it and download it every single time I have to print from any of my laptops unless I want to plug it up via usb which is not worth all the work! Now, I am purchasing the 2nd printer this year.

    Pros, Cons and questions is all I have. Default print mode is duplex, this has to be changed on every install. Manual paper tray is tiny (10 sheets) and often pulls 2 or 3 sheets at a time. The print quality is good, the overall printer quality is questionable. The main paper tray doesnt want to come all the way out.

    Mine lasted just over 2 years (2yrs and 2 months after installing) in a very mild use environment- we go through about 1k sheets in about a year…probably more than a year. Started to not connect to network then just wouldn’t stay on. Unplugging starts it up but it almost immediately shuts down. Will go back to HP after this experience.

    Im very satisfied with this printer. I replaced a 10 year old Brother printer with this one. It is fast and the print quality is great. It wakes up out of sleep mode much quicker than my old Brother printer. I highly recommend this printer.
