> 3 dayI read tons of reviews on various Laser printers before selecting this one. The problem is, there weren’t any GREAT ones. So I selected what I thought was a decent one and moved forward. 2 months in and I’m not impressed. I use this printer VERY little, but when I do, I want my page quick and clean. This one is quick. But I’m not sure quick matters if it comes out looking like I rolled it in cookies and cream ice cream. The instructions for cleaning the drum say to print a guide page and take note of the regions that have discolorations. That’s the entire page for me. So, I’m going to work on getting it cleaned up, but for 2 moths of ownership and far less than 100 pages printed, this does not bode well. I’d suggest rolling the dice on another model.

> 3 dayThis printer was pretty much plug and play on my iMac. I did not use the wifi feature and instead direct connected to it via a printer cord. It took longer to unpack this from its shipping box than it did to actually set it up. Easy peasy. Print quality appears quite good and it prints on 2 sides of a page so generally my paper usage will be cut in half. One negative is the unit is a bit loud when it starts to print. I startled me the first ime.

Greater than one weekOrdering and delivery process was fine. Print quality is fine. However, the printer makes a loud screeching noise when printing. VERY ANNOYING! Ive used Brother printers for a very long time. Sorry to see that quality has declined so significantly. Since Im past the return window, Ill use this one as long as I can stand it, then find a new printer from a different company.

> 3 dayNeed a software engineer and a system administrator to install it. I am neither so still not being able to print a single page. Yes there are several instructions and CD full of things to do here and there with your firewall and this and the other, but ultimately I have an HP printer that connects immediately and with no CD and registrations etc etc. My HP had issues with the wireless connection (going offline), hence I got this one hoping it could be better. Big mistake, this does not even connect using Ethernet (and again I can switch the cable to the HP printer and it is immediately recognized). I ma not an IT person but I not a lay person either, if it took me this long it means this printer is faulty. Would not recommend to buy and indeed I need to figure out how to return it.
