> 3 dayFor the price, its worth it. Pros: - Decent quality. - Price: I bought mine from Wal-mart for $29.95. Cons: - NO paper tray. Which means that once it is done printing each page, that page will fall to the floor. - Ink. I spend $35 per set (1 color, 1 black cartridge). They dont last long. I had a 250 page report to print out (no color, all black and white text) I put in brand new cartridges before and did not get through the entire thing. So it took me 2 of each to do 250 pages. I know other brands like HP you can get more out of for less money. Do the research before you buy. Look at the cost of the printer AND the cost of the ink. If the manufacturer does not tell you how many pages each cartridge will print; keep looking.

> 3 dayIve had this for a bit over four months ands use it infrequently. I had expected it to dry up between uses - it doesnt. It prints every time and prints well. If it were lost, Id buy another. Less than five stars because it is slow.

> 3 dayI actually bought this printer at Wal-Mart, before looking at any of these reviews. When I got home I checked them out. They seem to be totally mixed, and its hard to tell if the darn thing is any good or not. I started thinking, What kind of a piece of **** have I got here? Im glad to see I was very wrong. Its light years faster than my old HP 5550, and works like a charm. The first time I printed something I though it was just spitting a blank test page through first. Much to my surprise there was actually something printed on it. My old hp used to take a good 90 seconds to chug a page through, and I can see that this printer and I will be great friends. I havent really had a chance to test it with photo, but its not something I do much of anyway. (Insert blatant promotion of costco here, who charges 12 cents a print online and mails them back to me for free) The whole machine cost less than a new color cartridge for my HP, which was why we were at the Wal-mart in the first place. To anyone who isnt looking for a lot of bells and whistles, this is definitely the way to go. Its a boring black printer that does its job perfectly.

> 3 dayI like the printer so far - havent done much with it except print text, so I dont know how it does with pictures. Ive had it for about a month and the black ink jet ran out, but I have printed quite a bit with it so far.

Greater than one weekI ordered this printer for my son in college. I had it shipped directly to the college and there were no problems w/ shipping at all. The printer is exactly what he was looking for. Easy set up; great print quality. Hes very happy with it. I actually bought a Canon multi-function after I saw the quality of the print on his printer!

> 3 dayIve only used it for print so far, and the quality is excellent. No mechanical problems. I would like the option to print from back to front (spend 30 minutes looking for the feature last night to no avail) because documents come out face up so you have to re-organize documents that print out.

> 3 dayI have had this printer only about a month, but so far it has performed well. It is just a simple printer -- no bells and whistles -- and, for my personal needs, is all I wanted. My only complaint has to do with the price of the ink cartridges for this model. I had a Canon prior to this model and the ink was much less expensive. I dont understand the difference, but maybe these cartridges last longer.

> 3 dayGood Product for the Price, but if you plan on printing allot, you may want to consider a higher end printer.

Greater than one weekThe Canon Pixma IP2600 / 2600 is a P.O.S. It prints super light, as if the color in was watered down. You get what you pay for. Pay $25 more and get the 4600 and youll be satisfied, but research the ink costs in advance. Also look at generic ink distributors.
