> 3 dayI bought this printer over a year ago. I only used black ink - but lo and behold when I went to print something in color - there was no colored ink left! Besides the fact that it prints a minimal amount of black type - and the fact the ink costs a fortune! You pay for this printer on the backside. It is definitely not worth the $50.00 it costs. If you do buy it be prepared to have a lot of ink cartridges on hand because you will need them.

> 3 dayCanon tends to make good products, and this is no exception. A very good printer for the price.

02-04-2025This printer constantly feeds more than one page through at a time. This means that I have to reset it every one or two pages. I have yet to have it print more than 2 pages without jamming. It also uses up ink quickly and ink isnt cheap. I takes a long time to print. It defaults to printing 2 pages on a sheet. I would never buy this printer again, and probably wont buy a canon again because of the level of frustration I have with this printer.

> 3 dayMy old Lexmark inkjet finally wore out, so I did some research to find a highly rated, low cost replacement. The Canon Pixma iP2600 is easy to set-up and printed documents are excellent quality. As someone else mentioned, ignore the rater who complained about printed pages falling to the ground; they obviously failed to extend the support arm. Only complaint is that the USB cord isnt included (used the one included with my Canon scanner). Otherwise, Im very pleased with the purchase.

> 3 dayIve had this for a bit over four months ands use it infrequently. I had expected it to dry up between uses - it doesnt. It prints every time and prints well. If it were lost, Id buy another. Less than five stars because it is slow.

> 3 dayGrant it, I only use my Canon iP2600 for occasional small print jobs, but once I got used to the top paper loading and the noisy and slightly slower operation, I adjusted to it fine from my HP Deskjet. It gets the job done and the modest price makes up for little quirks. If I printed more often, I might check ink refill prices of other printers because Canon cartridges are certainly no bargain. Ive only had it for a few weeks, but so far, so good.

31-03-2025Ive only used it for print so far, and the quality is excellent. No mechanical problems. I would like the option to print from back to front (spend 30 minutes looking for the feature last night to no avail) because documents come out face up so you have to re-organize documents that print out.

> 3 dayWhat I ORDERED was a new printer, and while I haven’t yet tried hooking it up, it doesn’t look like a new one. Their are no power cords, no instructions and it was shoved into too small a box which was then put into another box of the same size. This may have to be sent back. NOT acceptable!

> 3 dayI have had this printer only about a month, but so far it has performed well. It is just a simple printer -- no bells and whistles -- and, for my personal needs, is all I wanted. My only complaint has to do with the price of the ink cartridges for this model. I had a Canon prior to this model and the ink was much less expensive. I dont understand the difference, but maybe these cartridges last longer.

> 3 dayGreat little printer for the money, but the cartridges do not last very long. They offer larger cartridges, but theyre pretty expensive too. When I went back to the store to get more ink cartridges, I realized that buying a new printer (which comes with cartridges and a small pack of photo paper) was about $4 less than buying the replacement cartridges. I felt a little guilty since its such a waste of resources (environmentally speaking), but thats Canons stupid fault for pricing things the way they have. Do they really think were not going to notice that the replacement ink cartridges cost more than we paid for the printer? Corporate America doing what it does best...wasting money. Had the two cartridges cost $25, I would have saved myself five bucks and gone on with my life. So I reluctantly bought another printer for $30 instead of paying $34 for the two little replacement cartridges. How could I not? That said, Im not the type to keep buying printers and putting them in closet or throwing them in the dumpster, so Ill be looking for an alternative soon, preferably from another company...but for the meanwhile, this one does the job just fine. Its just the principle that puts me off. Everything about the printer is great...looks awesome sitting next to my iMac too.
