Its a good basic printer, I leave my printer on as I print from my phone & laptop, and the printer seems to shut down periodically! But overall, a good inkjet, the ink cartridges are kinda expensive IF you buy Canon cartridges, as per usual!

Please be aware that this is a Canadian Printer. It is almost impossible to get tech support if you are in the US, because US support doesnt recognize the product, and Canadian support doesnt help because Im in the US. I was on the phone for hours, just trying to get someone to help.

The printer is fine, although, the starter ink is more than a little skimpy and the black ink was used up with less than 50 copies printed. The insult came when I tried to replace the ink which was listed with this printer and the error message was wrong ink cartridge NOT only on the printer but my computer. Maybe I was too trusting, assuming that if the printer was frequently bought with this ink it must be the right ink ? Seemed logical that if the item also displayed frequently bought together with this printer, then it would be the right ink, yes? ... NO. Too late to try and return as it has been 6 months, but also, I cracked opened the cellophane of the ink itself. Expensive mistake.

The printer was sent in a timely manner, but it did not work at all! Returned item to seller immediately.

Junk. If your Mac software is up to date and you have IOS Monterey, you can’t use this printer. Never able to get to work.

It’s a good size. It’s fast. But it doesn’t do double sided.

Found the same for 60 + tax

Was sent a printer that was not supported by USA customer support.. I had to dig on my own to figure out it was from Canada and that was why I could not set it up. Very poor customer service. It will be the last Cannon product I purchase. I was pretty much told it wasnt their problem, call Amazon.

Tech support at Canon said the device needs to be no more than 6-7 feet from the router. WTF?

It doesn’t matter if the printer is a Canadian product, it works fine in the USA. I live in Texas & once the printer was connected to my Wi-Fi there was no problem with printing. The easiest way to install the printer was to take the photo of the QR code located in the manual. Once I did that on my IPad I was prompted to download the Canon app. After getting the app just follow the instructions - very easy. If you go to the website to install the printer, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page & change the country from USA to Canada then input the printer model and follow instructions. I gave it 4 stars because changing the country should have been located at the top of the web page & not at the bottom (better yet why not default it to access all the models regardless of country) & because the seller didn’t list it as a Canadian product, luckily I noticed it on the box.
