> 3 dayVERY had to set up the wireless. NEVER did get it to work. Had to use the cable to a USB port. HAVE to use your cell phone to set up the wireless and even though I am a relative computer expert, I NEVER could get the wireless to work via the cell phone instructions.

16-04-2025This printer initially worked but then stopped working. The company and amazon refuse to accept the defective return. Do not buy.

> 3 dayI like how fast it prints. It was also to set up with a wireless connection. I am able to print from my desktop computer, iPhone and iPad. No hassles.

> 3 dayThis printer does everything I need it to do. Good images. Easy to set up. Never a technical issue. But the cost of the ink is ridiculous. It is literally the only reason I would not recommend this printer to friends and family.

> 3 dayMy journey with this printer is a few weeks old and I know more than enough to write a review. Here, in no particular order, is what is wrong with this printer. First, it is made and marketed for sale by Canon in Canada. Tech support at Canon US wont touch it. If you live in the US, the warranty is worthless. Enough there not to buy it: but there is more. It is very flimsy. The entire box shutters when it does anything. I was unaware that it was possible to build a printer with elements that thin. Next, I have no idea how to use the paper feed. It has worked properly only on 2 occasions. The rest of the time, it will not accept paper or it sends multiple sheets through at the same time or spaced either a half of a page or a third of a page apart. There is no way to know how or if it is going to feed. Right now I am getting an orange light that prevents the machine from working and I cannot tell what is wrong. And Canon US wont help. Seriously, if Amazon was giving these printers away, there is no reason to accept it. There is so much wrong with this machine that I cannot believe the positive reviews that I found on Amazon to be credible. I called Amazon with my thoughts on the machine and they did not want to address my concerns; but I persisted. I pointed out that a Canon Canada warranty being sold to US customers is defrauding the customer. Finally they agreed to accept and I am sending it back tomorrow. The bigger question is how does Canon agree to put its name on this piece of junk? My last Canon printer was a jewel and lasted over 10 years. Hope that this helps you decide.

> 3 dayI paid more for a printer that connects to my wifi but this one, no matter what we did, simply would not. We had to manually connect it to my desktop via cable, which defeats the purpose of getting a wireless printer so everyone in the house can use it. The print quality is good, its print speed is a little slow but not terrible, fine for a home office, and its relatively easy to use once we got it installed and working.

> 3 dayTHIS THING HAS TO BE TURNED ON PHYISCALLY EVERY TIME I GO TO USE IT. For the last 10 years my printer just printed when I sent something to it. Now I have to go, turn the thing on, wait for it to boot, hope it gets found by the wifi. what a joke. I bought brand new ink, off brand, that is supposed to work with this printer and big surprise, doesnt even register. I thought canon wasnt doing the proprietry ink thing? thats why I bought this model. gonna bite the bullet and switch to toner im tired of these disappointments

13-04-2025Terrible instructions. Difficult to follow instructions. Difficult getting anyone to communicate by phone. The ink for the printer would not register.

> 3 dayGreat printer. The only thing is the printing is kind of light. I hope to figure out hoe to darken it.
