Although this worked fine for a few months, after VERY infrequent use, it would no longer function for me when I needed it recently. An error code indicating a paper jam prevented any function. I had an experienced person try to help and did all the trouble-shooting recommended with no success. Now it appears that I cannot even return it because it has been sitting in my office too long.

Good for small printing tasks or a home office.

Used Canon printers and scanners for years. Had to go to Canada to get software and drivers when I first got this. Was not even listed on US site. Be prepared to always get the largest in capacity or if ya print 2 pages of color it will run out. Very un intuitive to figure out how to get things to scan, or set up the printer. Th little screen for seeing settings for paper size. Good luck.

Id like to address the previous 2 bad reviews, glad I didnt listen to them. First off, it WILL work right out of the box if directions were followed. Plug it in, ask your computer to add new device, then it will automaically ask you to download the printer driver, then update the driver. 2nd, the cartridges are SUPER EASY to put in if the directions were read. You have to press hard on the blue bar to make it move down, insert the cartridge, then flip the bar up. Its not rocket science. I had the thing setup and printing in under 10 minutes. I love that its the simple device I need for home use. Others may want one with more bells and whistles but this was perfect for those that want simplicity and cartridges are not pricey either!

I have only attempted to print. It printed with decent results but slow and seems to pull extra pages through. I have not tried any other functions. The single thing I don’t like is it turns itself off. I have not researched whether there is a way to change it. Every time I want to print I have to turn it on again. A little inconvenient, but I can work around it. Just found the instruction to disable the auto shutoff! Very happy now!

Got this all set up and running last night fairly quickly. I tried another more inexpensive option, the TS 302. But, I couldnt get it connected to my smartphone, nor could the apartment maintenance guy making me feel better about myself! Im not sure if this is suited for a small business person. But, for my limited needs, its off to a good start printing 3 small documents.

I not use to using a printer but will learn it will be e very helpful to me in later on

This was easy to set up and link to my laptop and phone for printing convenience.
