We replaced an older modal Pixma with this TS3420, and found the setup to be a much simpler process once we realized that this was a Canadian product--and not US. Why does that matter? Well, during setup we could not find our model (TS3420) in the list of supported models. As far as we could tell, this model didnt exist. Finally we found a link at the bottom of the page which when clicked allowed us to change our region from the US (where we live) to another region (where we dont live). A quick google search of Pixma TS3420 revealed that this was a Canadian model, so we clicked on Canada and--voila--the TS3420 was listed! From there setup was smooth on both our mobile devices and our computers. Hope this helps other US purchasers of this TS3420 printer.

The printer works fine, but the cartridges that came with it had been opened and used by someone. The seals were broken and when I installed them, the app showed that the black cartridge was less than half full and the color cartridge was about two thirds full.

See above. Can’t connect to Wi-Fi

Perhaps its because I bought a used one, but it was very difficult to use and even set up. It worked for a minute, and then it wouldnt cooperate and overall it was very clunky and a total waste of money as it didnt fulfill its job or purpose at all. I shoved it back in the box and I would like to throw it away as its too much bother to send back/sell again. Whatever. Regretful purchase.

This printer comes up in a search for edible printer, and even with the ink - but when you get it, it will not work with the edible ink, and trying to get my money back has been a nightmare. I have returned the item on July 27, yet it says Ill be refunded when the item is returned.

Please do not buy this. Very tricky to get on to wi-fi unless you download crappy software and connect printer to your Mac via a cable. Wi-fi disconnects frequently. Ink dries up constantly. The printer shuts off after a few hours and you have to walk up to switch it on before you can print it - sort of kills the whole point of wireless printing. Also prints really slowly. Print quality is also sort of meh. Inks are expensive and misleading information about what inks worth with this. This is a really sloppy product.

This printer does the job. I prefer Cannon Products they work well and last. Ive tried other printers and I always go back to Cannon!

From the time I tried to set it up, I had problems. I never could get the wireless connected. I called Canon and they said they had no such Series number in the U.S. I joined the Canon on line help page, no help there although they tried. I emailed the seller from Amazon and they said they couldnt help. I called a number they provided but it went to voice mail and 3 days later, I still have not had a call back. I cant find out what cartridges I need to get for the series. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER!

I’m still trying to set it to my phone wireless. This is why I purchased it because the reviews said easy to set up
