I received double road pieces and no settlements, cities, or the robber piece with my game :(

Bought this for the family Christmas game. Played with 2 adults and an 11 year old. Easy to set up and learn-Im admittedly an impatient gamer - I love games but hate reading rulebooks so I appreciate a game that has strategy and complexity AND short and concise rules. It got enthusiastic thumbs up from the whole family - it will definitely become a staple in our house. We did not experience any of the misaligned or poorly painted pieces in the game we received.

I was expecting a little more of the roads, towns, cities and robber items, they are cheap wood items, not elaborated plastic ones. But they work and the game is just Excelent! Recommended!

If you want a long leisurely game with some thinking involved, try this. Can be a few hours or just an hour. Depends on how your family plays. It is a strategy game like Risk. It has small pieces, so be careful with kids and pets. But it is a game a smart 8 year old could learn. I suggest 10 and older. Hard to understand at first but then... Lots of talking. This will get your family talking just to hear each other voices. And you can explain economy terms! Might as well getting some learning in there. Mostly... its just fun!

Best game ever. The price kept fluctuating, so when I saw it drop to $38 I jumped and bought it. My 10 year old begs to play this game everyday. We learned how to play at my sisters house, and he has been wanting it ever since. This edition has the movable pieces. WORTH IT. Dont buy the cheaper version where the pieces come preplaced. Half the fun is having a new game everytime based on where you put the pieces.

This is a great product. It arrived in a timely fashion, and had pristine pieces and no visible or discernible damage. It was exactly what I expected to receive.

Pros: Had all the pieces. Great game for adults over 30. Great game to drink to (like, water and pop). Great entertainment for get togethers. Cons: None. Buy it.

Such a fun, family game that we all enjoy playing (addicted is more like it). Intimidating at first, the kids caught on quickly. And given how the game is setup, every game is different and your strategy has to change. Cant wait to add on the add-on games as well!

This is a multigenerational game and no issue across languages because of picture reference on cards. Also bought extension
