> 3 dayMy friends and I love Catan nights. It gets competitive but not TOO competitive where it isnt fun if you dont win. Even my wife has become addicted to Catan. Relatively easy to learn, and high replayability. 10/10 would recommend, even if you dont consider yourself a huge board game person!

> 3 dayCame with missing pieces, all 5 of the red settlement pieces. I didnt want to deal with the hassle of returning it so I contacted the manufacturer for thr missing parts. Otherwise everything was fine.

> 3 dayThis is one of my favorite games I have ever played! The rules arent too complex and it is easy to play with a few or a lot of people. I had previously bought the family edition but the 5th edition offers way more expandable play, as well as being comparable with the expansion packs which the family edition is not. Over all this is a well made product and a absolute must for anyone who enjoys board games.

> 3 dayThis game effectively combines elements of Monopoly, casino craps, and Risk. After setup the gameplay is simple enough that a first-time player can win; however, there is enough strategy and minor details to the game to keep your family brainiacs addicted. Here are a few findings that we noticed after over 12 hours of gameplay. Development cards: we found that players who focused on buying development cards instead of expanding their territory almost always won. We cannot tell if this is a flaw in the games design or if the ability to buy the most development cards relates to the players superior placement of her pieces at the start. The amount of space on the board is the reason for the 3-4 player designation. With three you rarely compete with others for space, but with four it feels cramped. It is absolutely crucial that you start with the recommended setup and that you follow the recommendations for randomizing the board. A poor setup almost guarantees that the first player will win. Overall, the game is not perfect but it is the best game for adults that my family and I have ever played.

> 3 dayI was absolutely disappointed in the order. I purchased a new game to take to our family cabin weekend. First off the box was not wrapped in plastic which I initially thought nothing about. When I opened the game pieces were thrown everywhere in the box unorganized. The pieces were punched out and ripped in certain spots. We were missing pieces for example the letter “q” number “6” MISSING. The most disgusting part was one of the extra pieces has was looked like blood on it. Yes BLOOD!! I’m sorry seller... Did you cut yourself when you were tearing apart the pieces of my so called “new game”. Are you resending returned products and labeling them “new, unused”? I’m returning for an entire refund. I will not ever purchase from here again. I’ll wait for this game to become available at target than buy used and disgusting game set from here.

> 3 dayAlthough I love this game, I have noticed some large issues with the quality of the product (one of which actually impedes game play), detailed below. 1) the border pieces do not fit together well, so the hexagonal pieces do not sit still 2) some of the settlements are deformed 3) the blue set is missing 5 out of the 15 roads that are to be included, so I cannot play with 4 people. Again, I do enjoy the game, but I am very disappointed in the quality of this product.
