> 24 hourWe have a 2 year old and an 11 month old and needed to protect the switch to our gas fireplace. First off, its crazy simple to install. Remove the existing screws, place the base of this over the light switch, then use the longer screws that come with this product to stabilize the base. Note that we have a double light switch, and this product worked great to cover just one of the two switches. Once the base is installed, simply press in the sides of the cover piece and push into the base. It wasnt difficult to do, but it wasnt easy either, which is good. It seems to have enough pressure to stay put. Other reviewers noted that this was easy for their kid (or anyone, I guess) to remove. At least so far, I have not found this to be true. I can tug on it and hit it a little, and it hasnt budged. It might with more force, but just about anything would. Its in there solid enough for us. Our kids, so far, have also not tried to mess with it.

> 24 hourBwahahahaha - my 3 year old daughter is no longer turning the lights on after bedtime, working herself up into an exhausted fit, and waking up cranky. 12 dollars well spent.

> 24 hourThis was a life saver for us! Our 1 year olds crib is next to the light switch (theres no room to move it). She figured out after one of her naps that she not only could reach the switch, but could also turn it on. I was nervous that shed do the same during the middle of the night, so I put tape over the switch. But, it is the only switch for her rooms light, so I had to keep taking on/off the tape to turn the switch on/off. This switch cover not only solved our problem, but was super easy and quick to install, while not taking away from the aesthetic of the nursery. I would definitely recommend this!

> 24 hourThis was super easy to install and gets the job done well. Our 17 month old figured out the magnetic one all too quickly. She cannot even begin to figure this one out. Not extremely convenient as you have to stick your finger under and up to flick the switch but t def does what I need it too!

> 24 hourSince my child learned to turn on the light, we were looking for a solution to prevent this. This switch guard was perfect. I was able to install it in a matter of minutes. It is easy for me to turn the light on and off, but my childs fingers are too short to reach. It really is a smart design and makes it very easy to use. I would highly recommend it if this is something you are in need of.

> 24 hourWe had a really big problem with our toddler reaching up and turning on the switch for the fireplace. Not only was this dangerous, but a waste of money in gas. Enter this piece of plastic. Thats really all it is, but it is just long enough that a toddler index finger cant hit the switch, but an adult finger can. We havent had a single mishap since installing it over 3 months ago.
