LOVE LOVE LOVE this tool!! I have been purchasing the Dritz metal sewing rulers and since I sew daily I found they are very poorly made, it has been so frustrating because all the ink rubs off the ruler within a few months the quality is horrible. NOW I am so excited to have a good quality ruler AND most importantly the design is genius! You will love this ruler!

I make clothes for my grandson who has Dwarfism. That requires a lot of modifying patterns and this tool is very helpful to measure accurately.

I debated about purchasing this because I have many other little sliding rulers. I went ahead and purchased this and it really is different. It locks into place - no more sliding up and down when you are trying to measure. And the crossbar is much longer - this also is great for many things. Wish I had had this 40 years ago. Great little tool.

Very versatile tool that I plan to use to draw lines for consistent calligraphy spacing, and as a measuring and tracing ruler for papercrafting. The sliding measure glides smoothly and will allow for quick and easy measurement markings. I can also see possibilities for marking bookbinding holes spaced at certain distances.

I cringed at paying this much for a small piece of fragile plastic. However, the first time I used it I knew its all good. The drawing circle function alone is worth every penny. I used it to make a 7 diameter round on Soft and Stable and a 8 diameter on a quilting cotton to reinforce a bag bottom. It worked like a charm!

I had trouble keeping the sliding marker in position on my old ruler. The slider on this one stays in place with a ratchet-like holder. Theres a button release to allow you to move the place holder. Im going to love this little ruler.

Nancy Zieman is a 21st century sewing genius! This little gadget is light years beyond the old fashioned Dritz measuring gauge because you can click the slider to lock the measurement into place. I use my 5 in 1 Sliding Gauge all the time, especially on tailoring projects. Its so easy to use and so handy.

Nancy Clover Thank you! This is the best sliding gauge I have ever used. I like the way it locks into each measurement so my measurement will not slide as I move along my fabric.

I buy seam guages by the dozen. Should have bought this years ago. Easy to read. Makes adding seam allowances and marking hem fast and accurate.
