> 3 dayDid the job Comcast couldnt. They connected my router by the fireplace so of course, it overheated. Five minutes with this product and I had the router where I wanted it in the first place. Worked very well and only took me a few moments to find the right cable run.

> 3 dayMy house has a bunch of coax cables from various rooms that terminate in a closet. I needed to identify where each went to. I simply attached the sender to an outlet in a room and then checked each cable with the receiver. It worked perfectly. When I found the right cable it emitted. beep. It worked perfectly and is reasonably priced.

> 3 dayWorks perfectly. We have a FIOS modem so only needed one of these at the user end to convert coax outlet to an internet cable outlet. Doubled the speed that we can get with WiFi.

Greater than one weekFirst impressions it looks a little cheap not worth the $20. Doesn’t come with instructions on how to use it but if you have a brain you can figure it out in like five seconds. But works well for short cable runs haven’t had a chance for a long cable runs update later.

> 3 dayThere should be a special hell for installers who do not label coax cable! There were 7 cables coming out of my attic to a splitter, and I had no clue which went to a particular room. This handy gadget quickly solved the mystery for me; screw the tone piece on one end and apply the piece with the battery to the other end of the cable. If you hear a loud tone, label that cable right now! If not, keep testing until you find the correct cable. Its one of those items you may only need once in your lifetime, so I was glad the price was reasonable.

> 3 dayFirst, really easy to use. I have a coaxial and ethernet home, with lots of cables. It took only a few minutes to find the correct coaxial cable. Just plugged the pen portion into my cable jack for the TV in my basement, and took the speaker part and connected it to the various cables until I heard the tone. The speaker is threaded to the end of the pen, and just threads into the coaxial cable. When done, I removed the battery, assembled the parts, and placed into a zip lock sandwich bag, figuring it will be awhile before I need to use it again. I like that its compact, and simple.

> 3 dayVery handy. The previous owners of our house did not label the coax runs. Easy to sort them out with this tool. The tone is loud enough to be heard from two floors up, but the larger end also has a red LED to indicate that you have found the correct wire in the vent that you cant hear the tone.
