> 3 dayWorked fine. It did what I needed to do, that is, trace cables in my house for an antenna installation. The price was also very good.

> 3 dayBeing a novice at cabling it took me a little bit to get the hang of how best to use this tool but Im glad I got it. I bought a 5 year old house and the original owners (and cable company) only added connectors and used 2 of the 10 cables in the basement. This tool saved the day and I was able to trace the rest, label, and add connectors to the raw cables. Glad I was able to find this helpful tool.

> 3 dayI bought this becuase my sister had no idea what wire led to which room in her house. You hook one end up to the wire outside and the beeper end to any room (or vice versa) and start testing. Of course it takes two people (one at each location) but you will soon be able to label your wires accordingly. I even tested it on a coax that was 600 feet long and the signal had no problem traveling down the wire. Great little tool.

> 3 dayIt does what it should. Used it to identify the cables in my new house. Spent less than an hour to check them all. The case design is very solid (its metal). I think this device will serve me until I lose it somehow :) I dont see how it can mechanically or electrically break.

> 3 dayI had one when I did professional installs. Theres no plastic, no LCD screen, no nonsense. Metal body, one battery, one LED, one speaker. You need it for one job and it gets it done.

Greater than one weekI have not gotten a clear response to a question about this, but it looks like it doesnt work well through splitters. It seems to be just a DC circuit tester, but I really cant tell. Ive got cables in my RV that I know are connected and quite possibly through a splitter but this device shows the circuit as being open.

> 3 dayThis item works great. I had to figure out how to put the battery in but that was the only issue. After you remove the sounding element, you still have to twist off the remaining battery enclosure ( it has a gripping pattern) to insert the battery. Once I got the battery in it did the job intended
