> 3 dayI have not gotten a clear response to a question about this, but it looks like it doesnt work well through splitters. It seems to be just a DC circuit tester, but I really cant tell. Ive got cables in my RV that I know are connected and quite possibly through a splitter but this device shows the circuit as being open.

> 3 dayWorks perfectly. We have a FIOS modem so only needed one of these at the user end to convert coax outlet to an internet cable outlet. Doubled the speed that we can get with WiFi.

> 3 dayI had to jostle the battery to get a tone but then it was rock solid. Used it to trace cables to connect TV to attic antenna. I would have not found it without this extremely helpful, inexpensive tool!

> 3 dayI bought this so I could trace my lines from my old outside antenna when i cancelled my cable service. It works great. Once i figured out what to put where I found the right cables. It would have been nice to include some simple instructions.

> 3 dayThis item works great. I had to figure out how to put the battery in but that was the only issue. After you remove the sounding element, you still have to twist off the remaining battery enclosure ( it has a gripping pattern) to insert the battery. Once I got the battery in it did the job intended
