Greater than one weekI feel like a dandy whenever I take my umbrella to shield myself from the suns ray; but it works really well and I think I am on the cusp of a trend as summer simply turns into the heating season.

> 3 dayI have an autoimmune condition that means I need to be very serious about sun protection, and I got this umbrella for days when I dont want to wear a hat. Its great! Its easy to use, sturdy, and copes well with wind. Its also compact enough to carry around easily and to not take up too much room when Im walking down the sidewalk. It also works well for rain, making it a versatile addition to the stuff I carry with me daily. Coolibar products do tend to be a bit more expensive, but the extra money is worth it for the quality you get and the sun protection the products offer.

> 3 dayI have been using this umbrella for years, I wore mine and it is time to buy a new one. If you are not using this ladies...kiss your skin goodbye. Everyone who sees me asks me what is my secret to my beautiful skin, well... staying out of the sun is a big factor. By the way, I also ware the long sun sleeves. This umbrella is incredible, it has reversed hinges, so if it is too windy, it flips backwards & you flip it forward! I would not waste any money, trying to save money buying a cheaper umbrella...this is it :-)

> 3 dayI liked this umbrella for sun protection, but the quality is just not there. I used it for less than three months before the open/close mechanism fell apart and the umbrella went in the trash. With such a short life span, this is definitely overpriced. As others have said, it also does not withstand wind of any kind. Pretty disappointed, but still gave it 3 stars since it does a good job of protecting from sun and heat.

> 3 dayi have had this umbrella before. it finally broke down, hence my recent purchase. it keeps me cooler when i walk in this southern california heat, and protects my skin. i keep it with me wherever i go. i also like the fact that it is compact, easy to keep in a bag when traveling. i have had other brands and they did not hold up. this one does.

> 3 dayI bought it as a hot day parasol. Works much better than an umbrella the sun can penetrate. Only problem is difficulty in closing it completely. Possibly because of my arthritic hands

> 3 dayI THOUGHT I LOVED THE QUALITY & COLOR OF THIS UMBRELLA. WRONG IT JUST FOLDED OVER OUT OF NO WHERE REALLY WANTED IT BUT OVIOUSLY IT REALLY ISNT STURDY AND THE PRICE IS JUST RIDICULOUS. I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS A SIGN FOR GOOD QUALITY-DONT BE FOOLED-DONT TOUCH IT.....

> 3 dayThe handle was a little wobbly from the day 1, but I figured it should be OK, and it was; it blocked the suns rays nicely. That is, until late summer this year. It literally collapsed one day while in use, with a big BANG! Now it wont open. Automatic umbrellas mechanism tend to go before the rest of the umbrella, but really, you would think it should last a little longer at this price. Ive had a rain umbrella (with automatic mechanism) given to me as a free-bee live much longer than this. I think this one is overpriced for the quality. UPDATE: I contacted Coolibar; it turns out the umbrella is guaranteed for life. They replaced it for free. I have my finger crossed that this one wont collapse like the last one. (It was difficult not to have my best sun protection for a while.)

> 3 dayHas protected me from extremely sunny days without sunscreen! Just having a hard time keeping it up, as it tends to pop down
