> 3 dayPretty pink sunbrella and umbrella too . Works in sun and rainy conditions. Bonds up in the wind too. A little heavier than the other model which is more compact but that other one does not do well in rain or wind.

Greater than one weekLove this umbrella!!! Well constructed and light weight!! I have lupus and need to avoid the sun as the UVA and UVB rays make me sick... Its just the right size. Not too big and not too small... And now I dont have to wear a hat and have hat hair all the time!!! I put a carabiner clip on my purse to attach the umbrella to when I am not using it so I dont forget it somewhere... That would be an expensive oops!!!

> 3 dayWith 350 days of sunshine each year, I am thrilled to find something that will protect me from the Tucson desert rays, and keep me cooler on my walks to the campus shuttle bus. I have been using for 2 weeks Not recommended for our windy days, but other than that, I am glad to have this umbrella. Noticed another person with same umbrella the other day, walking across campus. We both agreed this is a great product!

> 3 dayGood sun protection. It does feel a little flimsy compared to the other top brand, but its not for busting the wind; its for protection against sun damage. The other brand doesnt consistently produce the 43 umbrella, and that one is only available through one vendor; so this meets that gap. I bought two and use one everyday.

> 3 dayThis is a great umbrella for sun protection. It does a good job of keeping you cool. However, I wanted a light umbrella and the weight in the description is inaccurate so its a bit heavy to carry on my morning walk in addition to a water bottle. On my kitchen scale the weight reads 1 lb 8 oz.

> 3 dayI bought it as a hot day parasol. Works much better than an umbrella the sun can penetrate. Only problem is difficulty in closing it completely. Possibly because of my arthritic hands

> 3 dayI’ve had this send umbrella for a year and a half, I live in Texas, so it is highly needed. The umbrella is very cheap and flimsy and folds at the slightest wind, making it completely useless and utterly frustrating.

Greater than one weekI have the larger umbrella and it’s amazing except it doesn’t fit in my bag, so I bought this to be more convenient - it’s windy where I live, it ended up flipping inside out 6x in 10 mins so I ended up walking back home to get the larger one. It’s pretty heavy too. I would return but I threw out the packaging already.

> 3 dayThis is the first umbrella I have purchased for shade protection. It really does help! I live in Arizona, so I was skeptical that it would make much of a difference, but it does! I also love that the silver exterior makes it feel a bit less odd walking in the sunshine with it. :) The handle has a comfortable grip, and it closes small enough to stash in your purse or briefcase. I only wish that it was a bit easier to close, as it takes strength to compress the metal rod back to its smaller size (which is required to then activate the button to open it again). Even with that downside, I would purchase this again or recommend for friends and family, as it really does help counteract the intensity of the sun. Coolibar is one of the few companies endorsed by the Skin Cancer Foundation. Be wary of cheaper imitations, as they are often made of subpar materials that dont truly block UVA and UVB rays.

> 3 dayThe umbrella is pretty, and the mechanism to open and close have worked well so far. I can only assume that it is cutting the UV rays out as it states.
