> 24 hourI bought this for my son as he likes to take his Vita everywhere. So far it is a very good protective case. He puts it in his backpack with various other items, books, t shirts etc.... He even knocked the case off of his nightstand with the Vita in it and nothing happened to the Vita turned right on, works perfectly. I would buy it again, if you are going to pay $200 for a device then you might as well spend a few extra dollars to protect it.

> 24 hourI bought this for my son for Christmas and I couldnt have made a better choice. Its just padded enough to protect the Vita when he throws it in his backpack to head to work or school. It holds a few memory cards and that all you really need, if you buy a case to hold the charger, then the compact size needed to made it truly portable goes out the window! The zipper is a very good quality and this one didnt have the intense odor others have spoken about. After it was opened on Christmas morning, we put it outside on the deck to air out ...just in case it did. The stitching is perfect and for the price, come on folks, this is a fantastic buy! When you think about what the Vita costs, this is a very needed purchase the day you buy it.

> 24 hourThe flap that holds games feels stiff and is tucked into the top more than advertised. May just be a bit of a nitpick but its something to know. Fits the 1000 model well so I assume itd fit the 2000.

> 24 hourThe CTA Digital Playstation Vita Case is a very compact and slim case which allows for great portability and will not take up any unnecessary carrying space when traveling. The outer case has a nice simple design and texture to it, which is also firm and durable. Within the inside of the case are 4 Slots for games and memory cards and 2 pouches for accessories which are located on a padded divider containing soft lining to protect the screen of the Vita from being damaged. Lastly the bottom of the case which holds the Vita is snug, fitting the shape of the Vita perfectly and contains 2 resilient straps to keep the Vita in place so there is no room for movement when traveling with the device. The only issue I have with the case are the straps that hold the vita in place are right next to the Vitas’ analog sticks making it more difficult than simple to remove the Vita from the case. Everything considered the CTA Digital Playstation Vita Case is slim, protective, made of nice material, is very affordable and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice quality case for their playstation Vita. Pros: Price Travel Friendly and Protective Slim and stores more than just the PS Vita itself Cons: Removability (minor issue)

> 24 hourNot a bad case for the price. The hard shell seems like it would protect my Vita in case I dropped it, but the case has a weird smell to it. It gave me a headache, so the plan is to let it set in the garage for a few days to see if the scent dissipates. Ill update this review if it remains a problem.

> 24 hourThe case itself feels sturdy, and the slots on the other side of the divider fit games just fine. My only problem with it is that its pretty small, and with my protective case on the Vita already, there is barely enough room for my to stuff my Vita in there. The straps that are meant to secure the vita are also kind of annoying (this is just a personal preference issue), but they will help prevent your Vita from falling when opening the case. I will most likely be returning this case due to the space issue, but it DOES feel sturdy and I believe it would protect the Vita from any falls.

> 24 hourFor the price, this travel case is tough to beat. And for $10, there are some expected minor construction issues, in particular the stitching. The belt loop on the sample I received was stitched at an off angle (the entire belt loop, not the stitching holding the belt loop in place). Not a problem for me since I have no intention of ever wearing this on my belt, but it does indicate a slight lack of attention to detail and care from the factory worker who did the stitching. The stitching on the game card pockets on the inside flap was particularly sub par and popped when inserting a game card, probably they are stitched onto a loose mesh material. The rear mesh tends to catch corners as well, making it difficult to easily slide game cards in place. The insert flap is made out of a neoprene-like foam material and should provide minor padding for the PSV. The mesh stitched onto the insert forms two pockets for storing headphones, a cleaning cloth or a memory card case. The case is made out of thermo-molded sheets of EVA plastic covered with nylon weave on the outside and a soft, low pile nylon lining on the inside. The PSV fits very snugly inside, making it about a slim as possible for a semi-hard shell case that should provide a higher degree of impact protection than a soft nylon sleeve or bag, and a higher level of crush protection due to the semi-rigid shell. It is not a hard case made out of rigid plastic. Design-wise, there was enough care made to include features like the belt loop and a removable lightweight carabiner to attach the case to a bag or belt loop, but neither are really necessary since the overall size of the PSV is more conducive to slipping into a bag or inside jacket pocket. There are two elastic straps sewn into the bottom of the case to hold the PSV in place, presumably to keep people from dumping their console on the ground if theyre holding the case upside down or sideways when opening it. Again, not really necessary and they take extra time to slip on and off. Many will probably end up snipping them off since they never use them, but its possible to just drop the PSV on top of the elastic straps as if they werent even there and the case still zips ups easily. The double zipper has a smooth action. The case lies between a nylon sleeve that mostly provides scratch protection and a hard shell case that provides impact and crush protection. Since the case fits snugly, it adds minimal bulk for those who dont want a blocky hard case or a padded nylon bag large enough to store everything including the PSV AC adapter. Overall, its a perfect slim fit holster for the PSV that works well as a permanent protective storage unit when not being used or plugged into a charge cradle. I would gladly pay $20 for the same design with better construction, better stitching, better game card pockets, a higher quality liner (like the material used in the Madcatz 3DS case), but for $10 it pretty much met expectations and fit the bill perfectly as a place to keep the PSV at home and on the go.

> 24 hourIt fits the slim Vita well. Feels a little tight, but the Vita doesnt bulge out of the case. After a couple days of use, I do have some trouble with the case, specifically the two straps to hold the Vita; its really difficult to take the Vita out after its been strapped in. Of course, I could use one strap or not use it at all, but its there and it was annoying to try to remove my Vita.

> 24 hourOK, so assuming you get the right case from Amazon (it should be all black, with no graphics anywhere), this is a really nice case. I got the right one delivered March 14, so hopefully that situation is resolved! 1.) It doesnt smell at all. Im not sure why some peoples cases are smelling bad, but I have a really sensitive schnoz and I smell nothing. Which was surprising to me, since I was ready for the worst! 2.) It fits the Vita perfectly, and theres a little barrier between the zippers and the system so you wont be scratching your Vita up. But... 3.) The elastic straps are HORRIBLE! Absolutely the worst. It made it a small nuisance to get the Vita into the case, and a right nightmare to get it out. However, I just took a pair of scissors and snipped the elastic parts off and problem solved! No issues now, and you cannot tell the elastic was ever there in any way, shape or form. 4.) The build quality could be a bit better. I had to cut a few threads off, and the game slots arent super-high quality. But they do the job. Overall, the key thing is your Vita is well protected, and for how cheap this case is you really are getting something that works. And thats more than can be said for Sonys own travel pouch which is a flimsy nightmare and double the price... 4 stars out of 5.

> 24 hourI got this baby cheap. As long as it kept my VITA screen unscratched, it was doing a good job. And it did. This case is not the best at holding your VITA while playing it at the same time. I have the version 3 with a OLED and I found that the straps cut off the sides of the screen. I found this case way more effective for holding a glass pipe and other stuff. It has good padding and seals in any unwanted smells. Plus everyone thinks there is a VITA inside. For 10 dollars, this is a must buy.
