> 3 dayEdit (6 July 2013): Im putting this from a 2 star rating to a 3 star rating. It really has held up well and has protected my Vita. Its quite impressive actually. But I cant stand how the upper flap is layered still; its still unusable. ---------- Original review: Generally, it does what it says. It carries the PSVita and protects it from harm. Ive dropped it once on concrete on accident and nothing was harmed. It gets the job done. However, Im not happy with [mostly] everything else. The carabiner that was suppose to come with it, didnt even fit in the small loop. Ive tried shoving it in, but nope. Doesnt fit at all (so I left it in the box). The top level where all the games and memory cards, etc go is tucked into the case in such a way that it always flaps into the top. Some pockets for the memory cards are sown into mesh. This makes no sense whatsoever. They could have put a zipper instead of open pockets so that the games, etc wont fall out. I also would NOT recommend putting earphones in it. There is just not enough space because of the flapping layer. When the Vita is in the case and strapped in, you cant push the L or R buttons. I really wish it did so I could at least play on it while its in the case. On the center that holds the top and bottom together, I can see some parts already being undone. Ive had it... almost 3 weeks now? For the price of it right now, ~$8-ish, its decent. It does its job. If you have a few extra dollars to spend, Id probably get a better one. The case I received didnt have that dreaded smell, so thats a good thing. Edit (5 Feb. 2013): Im lowering this to 2 stars because I suspect that its scratching my PSVitas screen. About a week into use, I noticed 3 0.5-1 inch long cuts on my screen (luckily I had a screen protector) and it had to have come from the case. If they got rid of that layer on top, I think it would have been fine. Edit (19 Mar. 2013): Im actually surprised that this case has held up for so long. There hasnt been any major rips or tears or anything like that. As for the case being too small to hold the Vita, I made a quick adjustment that seems to have done the trick. Instead of putting the Vita inside (the right way up), I put it in upside down so that it sits on the top flap. This method stops the two joysticks from being smashed since the system is being held up by the two cords when the case is closed.

> 3 dayFor the price, this travel case is tough to beat. And for $10, there are some expected minor construction issues, in particular the stitching. The belt loop on the sample I received was stitched at an off angle (the entire belt loop, not the stitching holding the belt loop in place). Not a problem for me since I have no intention of ever wearing this on my belt, but it does indicate a slight lack of attention to detail and care from the factory worker who did the stitching. The stitching on the game card pockets on the inside flap was particularly sub par and popped when inserting a game card, probably they are stitched onto a loose mesh material. The rear mesh tends to catch corners as well, making it difficult to easily slide game cards in place. The insert flap is made out of a neoprene-like foam material and should provide minor padding for the PSV. The mesh stitched onto the insert forms two pockets for storing headphones, a cleaning cloth or a memory card case. The case is made out of thermo-molded sheets of EVA plastic covered with nylon weave on the outside and a soft, low pile nylon lining on the inside. The PSV fits very snugly inside, making it about a slim as possible for a semi-hard shell case that should provide a higher degree of impact protection than a soft nylon sleeve or bag, and a higher level of crush protection due to the semi-rigid shell. It is not a hard case made out of rigid plastic. Design-wise, there was enough care made to include features like the belt loop and a removable lightweight carabiner to attach the case to a bag or belt loop, but neither are really necessary since the overall size of the PSV is more conducive to slipping into a bag or inside jacket pocket. There are two elastic straps sewn into the bottom of the case to hold the PSV in place, presumably to keep people from dumping their console on the ground if theyre holding the case upside down or sideways when opening it. Again, not really necessary and they take extra time to slip on and off. Many will probably end up snipping them off since they never use them, but its possible to just drop the PSV on top of the elastic straps as if they werent even there and the case still zips ups easily. The double zipper has a smooth action. The case lies between a nylon sleeve that mostly provides scratch protection and a hard shell case that provides impact and crush protection. Since the case fits snugly, it adds minimal bulk for those who dont want a blocky hard case or a padded nylon bag large enough to store everything including the PSV AC adapter. Overall, its a perfect slim fit holster for the PSV that works well as a permanent protective storage unit when not being used or plugged into a charge cradle. I would gladly pay $20 for the same design with better construction, better stitching, better game card pockets, a higher quality liner (like the material used in the Madcatz 3DS case), but for $10 it pretty much met expectations and fit the bill perfectly as a place to keep the PSV at home and on the go.

Greater than one weekI LOVE THIS THING! It holds ten games, holds my Fire Emblem Fates 3DS XL, aaaannd my 20th anniversary Pokémon 3DS---- at the same time! With headphones. Man I love it. Its actually the best case Ive ever had. And Ive been through a lot of cases! I carry it over my neck to my side everywhere I go. The outside is hard, and it doesnt scuff or scratch any of your precious 3Ds XL/3DS little/DS/DSis it keeps them safe and secure within its sweet meshable embrace! My 3Dss mean a lot to me. I own several, but only have two in use at any one time. Im confident that it would hold two XLs if I wanted, but since they came out with the changeable faceplate ones in America I keep one of those and an XL on me at all times. Along with all my downloaded games. So Im pleased it securely holds the few hard copies I do have. I havent once had a problem when I opened it, of anything being out of place. I really have no cons about this product at all.

> 3 dayIt fits the slim Vita well. Feels a little tight, but the Vita doesnt bulge out of the case. After a couple days of use, I do have some trouble with the case, specifically the two straps to hold the Vita; its really difficult to take the Vita out after its been strapped in. Of course, I could use one strap or not use it at all, but its there and it was annoying to try to remove my Vita.

> 3 dayI got this a while back when i got my ACR (white) ps vita i think. Either way its white and i got he case at the same time since i ordered both very close together. I can fit the ps vita in the half with the straps, but its sort of a hassel to have to lift up the straps, i think ill just stop using them since there is a zipper after all lol (not to mention joysticks are and have been known to be very sensitive) So those straps are a big no no. Now if we put all that aside, yes the ps vita site in nicely and yes you could fit your 4 game cards in the little built in sleeves, and then maybe just maybe if you fold the power supply just right you can get a very if not extremely tight fit. What i would rather do and what i am doing is leaving the charger in another case along with everything i dont need. Sometimes i have just the usb end in the case being sold/talked about here if im in a rush. Bottom line im unhappy with my purchase, but have found half a use for it... at least its smaller than most the other case pouches out there lol

> 3 dayThis case is only perfect if you dont plan on carrying your charger with you. The usb charger will fit but barely. It has a limited amount of slots for your cartridge games and they are loose but other than that, I am very satisfied.

> 3 dayI bought this case because it was the cheapest I could find at the time for the Vita, but was kind of upset at how bulky the thing is when it arrived. Dont worry, itll grow on you. The top compartment, where you can hold games and memory cards, will normally stay hidden when you open the thing, and it makes a little area where I keep extra screen protectors and extra game cartridges. It can hold the computer-to-Vita section of the charger, but not the main adapter. There are straps in the section of the case that holds the Vita so you can just zip the case open and play, but since Ive been playing games that use the rear touchpad and R and L buttons I dont use them, and the Vita fits fine over them; I never bother to strap it in, anyway. So yeah, its bulky, but it fits just about everything you need for it. Ill usually carry this case around with the charger and Ill be fine. Also, I wouldnt go around testing it, but Ive dropped the thing and had a few close calls where I forgot it was inside my bag as Id throw it across the room with my Vita inside, and it protected it just fine.

> 3 dayHere I have the beautiful well made genious of a device in the PS Vita. But this case leaves some to be desired. The outside looks great..its plain, black and looks like its something well made. Then you unzip it and look inside and its pretty poorly constructed (or maybe i got a defective one) the padding around the edges is all there (except the right side seems to be crushed in and non existant) also, my game card slots stitching completely came unraveled, to the point where i just finished the Inevitable (it was going to fall apart/fall out) so I just removed it with a seem ripper & scissors. So that sucks as I was looking forward to actually using those 4 slots, but i guess not now :-/ If youre being cheap and wanna save some scratch, then $10 isnt a big loss...but id probably reccomend spending $20 and getting something better made. Or, maybe i just got a defective one...I dunno, I would send it back, but its a lot of hassle for a $10 case. Probably ill just find a great case later and either toss this, or give it away. I gave it a 3/5 stars assuming i just got a bad one. My own personal case, more like 2 1/2 out of 5. And mine too stinks of toxic chemicals.

Greater than one weekIv had this case for a few weeks to hold my vita. I like thew case a lot i had a crystal case for it for the longest time and really just wanted something to put in my pocket. the only thing i didnt like about the case was the two holders that come inside the case to basically keep the vita secure in the case. I was afraid of it taring up my analog sticks. its easy to remove tho. And i rated only 4 stars because nothing in this world is perfect.

> 3 dayI got this baby cheap. As long as it kept my VITA screen unscratched, it was doing a good job. And it did. This case is not the best at holding your VITA while playing it at the same time. I have the version 3 with a OLED and I found that the straps cut off the sides of the screen. I found this case way more effective for holding a glass pipe and other stuff. It has good padding and seals in any unwanted smells. Plus everyone thinks there is a VITA inside. For 10 dollars, this is a must buy.
