Not a bad case for the price. The hard shell seems like it would protect my Vita in case I dropped it, but the case has a weird smell to it. It gave me a headache, so the plan is to let it set in the garage for a few days to see if the scent dissipates. Ill update this review if it remains a problem.

This case is only perfect if you dont plan on carrying your charger with you. The usb charger will fit but barely. It has a limited amount of slots for your cartridge games and they are loose but other than that, I am very satisfied.

*** 11/09/2012 REVIEW UPDATE One of the nylon straps that others have complained about, broke a few days ago. So, I ended up snipping them both off with some wire cutters. I wasnt being forceful or anything, was just trying to get the Vita out. So far, Id still recommend the case and am keeping the 5-star rating as-is. *** ORIGINAL REVIEW: After browsing a number of different Vita cases and checking reviews, I decided to pull the trigger on this one. A few notes: - The case shipped to me does NOT have any sort of weird smell. Another reviewer reported theirs did. - The two straps used to keep the Vita in place can certainly be slightly annoying, but they absolutely hold the device in place well. Im undecided on snipping them off or not. - Other reviewers reported that the games would slide out of the sleeve easily -- I did NOT find this to be the case, and I tried -- hard -- to make it happen. - Construction of this case, overall, seems very good. Some of the stitching isnt perfect, but for under $9, its impossible to complain about. To be perfectly honest, I think this case is better than the felt sleeve that came with my PSP1000. I feel confident in saying the case could be dropped from a fair hight and no harm would come to the Vita inside. So far, Im overall extremely pleased with the case and will put it through some usage over the next few months. Should my opinion change at all, Ill be sure and update this review.

The flap that holds games feels stiff and is tucked into the top more than advertised. May just be a bit of a nitpick but its something to know. Fits the 1000 model well so I assume itd fit the 2000.

If you have a Vita, its worth it to put that baby in some sort of case. This case fits the bill nicely. The case itself is very strong and sturdy. I would have no worries about throwing it into a backpack, which is not the case if my Vita was naked. It comes with a pretty nice clip so you can just attach it to the outside of a bag or something. The elastic straps are a nice addition and hold it very snug when its not in use. They seem to be very well attached as well. When the case is zipped close the screen is protected by the accessories pocket, so it would have to take a VERY hard hit to cause any damage. There is room for four game cards, your charging cables and a set of earbuds. Everything you need! In closing, yes, you could pony up and get the official Sony case. However, with the money saved (about $30) I bought some games off the PS Store. Kind of a no brainer if you ask me.

The case is good and sturdy which makes for good protection. This is good if you are prone to dropping your handheld games or carry around your portables in a purse or bag where it can be crushed or scratched by other items. My only complaint is that while it does contain slots to hold other game cards, they do not seem to hold well and the game cards tend to slip out easily. I have actually lost game cards this way so I wouldnt advise using it to carry anything but the Vita itself.

This case is great, sure if feels cheaply construced but its strong enough to protect your Vita. It has a 1 zipper closure, i would of loved 2 zippers so you can close from either side. The elastic straps are nice, keeps your Vita from moving around inside, but if you dont like them you can cut them off with scissors, no problem. It has a middle flap where you can store upto 4 games (but the memory cards are too small the hold securely) and also mesh pouches where you could hold head phones or the USB cord. The outer case is a hard fabric style case. It comes with a metal clip/carabiner. For $10 its a great deal, i recomend.

I had read other reviews regarding this product... some reviews stated that the case had a really pungent odor that was so bad that the product needed to be returned. This was not the case with mine & it was the first thing that was paying attention too when I opened the package. I sniffed around the box before opening & it didnt smell so I pulled open a corner & still didnt smell anything... I pulled it out of the box & took a HUGE wiff right on the case... nothing, just the normal weird from factory new fabric smell... I dont even smell that anymore & I have had it for a week or so now. The other thing people complain about the elastics inside that hold the Vita in place. people have cut these off as they do not like them... this I feel is a preference, I personally like them. They stretch enough that I can get the Vita out without to much difficulty or damage to the system. They are tight enough that they hold the system in place comfortably. People say they tug on the analog sticks when they try to take the system out of the case but I dont find this to be an issue. I pull up on the elastic while grabbing the bottom corner of the system & put the elastic behind that side of the system I then lift the other elastic & slide out the system towards the side I already pulled the elastic off of. So again this is preference as to whether or not you want to snip them out. The case itself is nice quality & I feel if I dropped it from about waist high no damage would come to my Vita. The flap inside has space for a few games &/or Memory Cards... however I do find that these slots are a little to big for the Memory Card alone without some sort of small case (like what the SD Cards come in)... games have no issue fitting. There is a netting on the inside as well for small accessories... but not the AC adaptor... maybe a USB Cable and some ear buds are all that would fit. I personally have not used this section yet. All in all I find this to be a good purchase for the price as it is good quality, I feel it protects my system, & like that it has some space for some games &/or Memory Cards. I definitly give this product 5 Stars. Good price, good product.

It seems well enough and I couldnt find many imperfections except I can see why a lot of people say the games fall out, depending on the direction you open the case the slot where you put the game could just fall out - having them face sideways could possibly fix this. but I mainly just plan on downloading games to my card. The straps seem to hold my 2001 series ps vita just fine but I do see why people complain that where the belt/belt loop strap is on the top and the zipper is on the bottom which could lead to it unzipping and falling out - I dont plan on doing that anyway as I already have too much stuff attached to my belt to begin. I didnt notice any chemical or smoke smell upon opening like others have had issues with. Also I received the correct color - Black All in all its a good product for me. Short list: Pro: Nice firm case - seems like it will protect well if dropped and protected from banging around against things in my backpack Inside is soft enough to not scratch the screen but could be softer. Straps work well for my ps vita model Construction is of good quality Cons: Game holder could be designed better Belt hook should be on the same side as the zipper when its closed The removal of 1 star is for the cons - if those features mattered to me I would probably remove another star - but they arent so 1 star removal as I recognize they are still flaws. Update: Yup my husband threw my vita down the stairs - it is undamaged - love it.

I only use it to hold my Vita. I buy games digitally so its all in my memory card rather than having to worry about storing cartridges but the place holders for them feel snug and secure. I dropped it on the floor with my Vita in it once and it protected my Vita just fine. I like that the case comes with a belt loop attachment so i can hook it up to my pants and my Vita is right there.
