08-06-2025For the price it wont get much better than this. I just wanted something to keep my Vita safe while out and about. As someone else suggested in one of the reviews, dont use the elastic bands, just let the vita sit on top of them and then zip up the case. The problem is to use the bands you have to force the vita into the case and I just dont feel comfortable doing that as im trying to have the Vita last for many years to come. The case is solid and well built and I feel confident that dropping this a few feet up with my vita inside will do next to nothing to the Vita.

> 3 dayThis case is very good. It is nice and hard to protect the vita and has straps to hold it in. My one complaint would be that the pouches that are inside do not hold anything in them so when you re open the case your games or accessories are strewn every where in the case. The 4 game holders work well though. In conclusion, if you are looking for a low price case that will protect your vita then this is the case for you.

> 3 dayThis is by no means the most expertly constructed electronics case. It has a few loose stitches around the game entry area and the quality of the internal materials isnt stellar. But for less than $10, this is a fantastic buy to protect the Vita. Mine didnt smell at all like some people have said. I removed the straps as I didnt really see the point in them personally. Seems like a matter of opinion and how you will use the case that will dictate whether you keep them. Its not a super fancy case, but it for sure gets the job done on the cheap. Other than that, a great case that I would highly recommend.

> 3 dayEdit (6 July 2013): Im putting this from a 2 star rating to a 3 star rating. It really has held up well and has protected my Vita. Its quite impressive actually. But I cant stand how the upper flap is layered still; its still unusable. ---------- Original review: Generally, it does what it says. It carries the PSVita and protects it from harm. Ive dropped it once on concrete on accident and nothing was harmed. It gets the job done. However, Im not happy with [mostly] everything else. The carabiner that was suppose to come with it, didnt even fit in the small loop. Ive tried shoving it in, but nope. Doesnt fit at all (so I left it in the box). The top level where all the games and memory cards, etc go is tucked into the case in such a way that it always flaps into the top. Some pockets for the memory cards are sown into mesh. This makes no sense whatsoever. They could have put a zipper instead of open pockets so that the games, etc wont fall out. I also would NOT recommend putting earphones in it. There is just not enough space because of the flapping layer. When the Vita is in the case and strapped in, you cant push the L or R buttons. I really wish it did so I could at least play on it while its in the case. On the center that holds the top and bottom together, I can see some parts already being undone. Ive had it... almost 3 weeks now? For the price of it right now, ~$8-ish, its decent. It does its job. If you have a few extra dollars to spend, Id probably get a better one. The case I received didnt have that dreaded smell, so thats a good thing. Edit (5 Feb. 2013): Im lowering this to 2 stars because I suspect that its scratching my PSVitas screen. About a week into use, I noticed 3 0.5-1 inch long cuts on my screen (luckily I had a screen protector) and it had to have come from the case. If they got rid of that layer on top, I think it would have been fine. Edit (19 Mar. 2013): Im actually surprised that this case has held up for so long. There hasnt been any major rips or tears or anything like that. As for the case being too small to hold the Vita, I made a quick adjustment that seems to have done the trick. Instead of putting the Vita inside (the right way up), I put it in upside down so that it sits on the top flap. This method stops the two joysticks from being smashed since the system is being held up by the two cords when the case is closed.

02-06-2025Ive used this case for almost a year, and it has protected my Vita well. I usually put the Vita + case in a backpack or my pocket, and usually just toss them in with other items. The case has definitely protected my Vita against scratches or worse and given me peace of mind when transporting it. However, the slots to hold the game cartridges are very poor. Very often, Ive opened the case to find that one of the carts has slipped out or notice that one has slipped out as Ive closed it. If you open the case too quickly, I imagine that the carts could easily go flying out of it. Since Vita memory is so expensive, Ive opted to go physical with most of my collection. This flaw means I need to be very careful with my games.

> 3 dayWhat I like about the case *fits vita securely *has slots for games *could stuff the cable in to charge off computer *a lot smaller than the sony cases *comes with clip if that is your thing Things to consider *straps arent needed and I feel like am going to mess up the dual analogs de-strapping, I just dont use them. *came with giant graphic on the front unlike the picture which is all black Synopsis Good case, doesnt need the straps, yours may not look like the picture (Amazon snafu it seems)

> 3 dayI bought this CTA case expecting it to be lightweight but durable. And it is. It has a great value, slim enough to fit into my pocket, good zipper quality. I could go on and on about the case, it pretty good except for one thing that is partly my fault. I have noticed that games like to fall out of the slot to hold them. I have lost my copy of Assassins Creed Liberation (I found that) and Persona 4 Golden (Very disappointed that I couldnt find that, but Im happy to give Atlus the money). Its partly my fault, partly the cases, so either be on the look out, dont carry extra games, or get another case. I recommend the

> 3 dayHonestly, I wasnt expecting a whole lot from this case given how inexpensive it was, but Im pleasantly surprised. It is quite stiff, and feels like it provides a decent amount of protection. I keep my Vita in a messenger bag or backpack when I travel, so I mostly just wanted something slim to protect it from slight bumps from other things in my bag. This case fit the bill. I have 16 game cards in it, and Ive stretched out the slots a bit, but it seems fine. The slots for the cards are pretty low-quality, but you could easily put a plastic card carrier inside if it that was a concern.

> 3 dayHere I have the beautiful well made genious of a device in the PS Vita. But this case leaves some to be desired. The outside looks great..its plain, black and looks like its something well made. Then you unzip it and look inside and its pretty poorly constructed (or maybe i got a defective one) the padding around the edges is all there (except the right side seems to be crushed in and non existant) also, my game card slots stitching completely came unraveled, to the point where i just finished the Inevitable (it was going to fall apart/fall out) so I just removed it with a seem ripper & scissors. So that sucks as I was looking forward to actually using those 4 slots, but i guess not now :-/ If youre being cheap and wanna save some scratch, then $10 isnt a big loss...but id probably reccomend spending $20 and getting something better made. Or, maybe i just got a defective one...I dunno, I would send it back, but its a lot of hassle for a $10 case. Probably ill just find a great case later and either toss this, or give it away. I gave it a 3/5 stars assuming i just got a bad one. My own personal case, more like 2 1/2 out of 5. And mine too stinks of toxic chemicals.
