CTA Digital PS Vita Travel EVA Protective Case

Yes, it holds my PS Vita Slim and protects it, but thats it. If thats all youre looking for then this case is for you. The shell of this case ridged but flexible. Feels like it will protect your system just fine from a 3 foot drop. However, if something heavy were to hit it directly center, I would be a little worried. Build quality feels and looks good. Even comes with a small carabiner if the urge strikes you to take your Vita with you rock climbing... As for space, theres enough for your Vita, a USB charging cable (for the Vita Slim), but not the AC adapter. The reason for not getting more stars, and 3 might be too generous, is that the four pockets that are supposed to hold your extra games are sewn shut along the top. Theyre useless. There are two larger mesh pockets, but they dont hold the small Vita games very well. When I open the case my physical games will fall out. All in all, very basic case. Pros: -Hold PS Vita Slim securely in place. -Protects from bumps and scrapes. Cons: -Game card holders are sewn shut along the top. Cant be used. -Not much space for other items like AC Adapter.

Its generally a good case; nothing too fancy. Fits the Vita 2000/slim well, is fairly sturdy, and at a decent price. The inside straps arent very useful, as its very difficult to get the Vita in/out of them, but they also arent necessary. The downside: a STRONG chemical smell. I saw other reviews mention it before buying, but figured it wasnt a big deal. However, after multiple dryer sheets and liberal use of febreeze, the smell is still there. It even clings to the Vita itself for quite a while after removing it from the case. Its not the end of the world, but is bothersome enough to make me consider another case.

I GIVE IT A 4 BECAUSE IT SEEMS TO DO WHAT I NEED IT FOR. THE REASON 4 & NOT 5, BECAUSE ITS ZIPPER & CLIP DO NOT COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER.MY PS VITA SLIPPED OUT DUE TO THE CLIP BEING ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ZIPPER CAUSING ME TO QUICKLY USE MY FOOT TO STOP IT FROM HITTING THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIR CASE BY SLIDING IT ONTO A STEP, MY NEGLIGENCE I MUST ADMIT WAS NOT ZIPPING IT ALL THE WAY SHUT, BUT THAT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE PROBLEM IF THE CLIP WAS WERE THE ZIPPER CLOSED ALL THE WAY UP INSTEAD OF UPSIDE DOWN. I HOPE THAT HELPS ANYONE OUT, IT SEEMS SOLID & STURDY. I HAD IT FOR ALMOST A MONTH. INSIDES OKAY ENOUGH TO FIT 2 PS VITAs OR PSPs. REMEMBER TO VACUUM INSIDE GETS RATHER LINTY. GOOD FEEL,NOT BAD STITCH WORK ON MINE, CANT HELP BUT FEEL LIKE THE GAME POUCHES SHOULD HAVE BUTTON SNAPS TO CLOSE IT THOUGH..JUST TO BE SAFE,GAME POUCHES FEEL CHEAP LIKE AN EVERLAST MMA GLOVE,BUT I DONT BOTHER WITH IT MUCH ANYWAYS. BE VERY! CAREFUL WHEN EXTRACTING THE PS VITA BECAUSE OF THE STRAPS YOUR LEFT & RIGHT JOYSTICKS WILL! GET CAUGHT ON THEM..A QUICK WARNING,THEY HOLD IT VERY WELL..EVEN WHEN EXTRACTING THE VITA AS WELL. Well made case for the Vita with room for 4 games and a few other small accessories (ear buds, etc). Good price and shipping was also fast. I havent experienced any odd smells from the case like a few have mentioned, either. I was worried because I added a silicone cover to the unit and wasnt sure it would still fit with the case zipped shut, but it did, so there is a little extra room if your adding that to your Vita.

Not a bad case for the price. The hard shell seems like it would protect my Vita in case I dropped it, but the case has a weird smell to it. It gave me a headache, so the plan is to let it set in the garage for a few days to see if the scent dissipates. Ill update this review if it remains a problem.

Its a very good case. Will protect the vita. You have 4 card slots for the games and room for a LCD tag and head phones. comes with a little clip for the pocket or bag. Soft in the inside and hard in the out side. The only reason why I didnt give it a 5 star is because of the 2 straps inside. Just cut them off. Saves you the trouble. For the price its good and it comes in on time.

Things I look for in a case: 1. Does it protect my PS Vita? Yes. 2. Does it hold a couple of games? Yup. 3. Is it compact enough to not make me angry when trying to fit it into my messenger bag when I travel? Yes. My overall impression of this case is that it does a great job at what it is supposed to do. I like the hard shell that keeps my Vita from getting banged up when I travel and I think the overall construction of it is pretty solid. The only thing that I did to this case when I bought it was to cut out the elastic band that you can use to secure the Vita even more. I found they were pretty useless and got in the way. Five seconds and a pair of scissors solved that problem though. Get this case, it works well and is fairly inexpensive!

I was skeptical at first looking at this case since most of the reviews by people that said they liked this case were from 2012, and most of the reviews from 2014 said the case was horrible and smelled bad. I ended up buying this case anyway and I think it is as perfect as i could have asked for. My case doesnt smell like burning rubber in fact the only way I could even smell this case was if I stuck my nose against it, if you back your nose up an inch you cant detect it, but even when you do get next to it, it only smells like a shoe does when you first buy it. overall this case is very sturdy and the game slots fit fine, I dont think I couldve asked for a better quality item at 8 dollars. Verdict: *Quite affordable *Very snug *The straps can be a tad annoying but they do keep the vita very secure *Doesnt smell bad *Feels like it is high quality You really cant go wrong for 8 bucks, Id suggest this case.

It’s a little snug but it’s pretty durable

It does an alright job at protecting my PS Vita. The exterior is quite tough and I dont worry about it damaging the Vita while its inside, but its somewhat of a hassle taking the Vita out of it. There are elastic straps that you can wrap around your Vita on the bottom portion of the case, but it makes it far too cumbersome to remove your Vita while its in there, and its not like its going to slide around that much anyway. The top flap can hold up to four game cards or memory cards, but its impossible to see which one is which and they dont fit in terribly well. Its still better than nothing, though.
