> 3 dayPlenty has been said already but I thought I would chime in with my experience. I like to take my handhelds with me as I travel but I also like to travel light. I dont need a case that I can pack 20 games, the charger and a can opener. This case is very sturdy and is very form fitting for the Vita. The system fits very snug in the bottom of the case and there is a piece of fabric that sits between the top and bottom of the case. This flap has 4 slots that are perfect size for additional Vita games. My only gripe here is that due to the small size of the Vita game cartridges there is the possibility of the games falling out of these slots. There isnt a whole lot of room between this fabric and the top of the case, but you could probably fit your charging USB cable there. I give this case a solid 4 1/2 stars, with the only downside being that the space set aside for game cartridges doesnt always seem secure for me, and it is not possible to identify the games without pulling them out (some sort of transparent cover of this section would have solved this issue). The case is very sturdy and very attractive and is by far the best Vita case out there.

> 3 dayNo extras really this is a nice simple travel case for the Vita, Its a firm shell that will protect the Vita from getting smashed under normal conditions just fine. It has a few little places to put your game cards and enough room to even fit a small charger & cable. Its all I wanted in a storage case. A+ (Note) This is more of a Travel / Storage case, It is not a case you can play the Vita on while it is in the case...This is for when your done playing and dont want to just lay it on a table top.

> 3 dayIf you have a Vita, its worth it to put that baby in some sort of case. This case fits the bill nicely. The case itself is very strong and sturdy. I would have no worries about throwing it into a backpack, which is not the case if my Vita was naked. It comes with a pretty nice clip so you can just attach it to the outside of a bag or something. The elastic straps are a nice addition and hold it very snug when its not in use. They seem to be very well attached as well. When the case is zipped close the screen is protected by the accessories pocket, so it would have to take a VERY hard hit to cause any damage. There is room for four game cards, your charging cables and a set of earbuds. Everything you need! In closing, yes, you could pony up and get the official Sony case. However, with the money saved (about $30) I bought some games off the PS Store. Kind of a no brainer if you ask me.

Greater than one weekThis is a nice case for the price. I never had any issue with smell or anything like that, as some have mentioned with this case and many other cases seem to have as a characteristic. Its a nice, semi-rigid shell with enough buffer in the lining that the zipper is in no danger of coming into contact with the Vita. It comes with two elastric straps that help hold the Vita in place on its side of the case. I found them to be effective at holding the Vita in place but inconvenient, so I cut them out. Looks no worse for me having done that and, so long as one remembers that the binding should be on the left when opening, there is no danger of having the Vita fall out when opening the case. My one small complaint is in regards to the four game/memory card pockets on the protector flap. When you put game cards in the pockets, there is no way to see which game card is which without pulling them out of the pockets slightly. Also, the cards will fall out of the pockets on rare occasion. I found a loose game that had fallen out of a pocket one day. Realistically, though, I dont know how they could make the current design any tighter without turning it into a chore to get the cards out of the pockets. Overall, Im pleased with the case.

> 3 dayIm a big fan of slim cases for handhelds/phones/etc. This case fits my PCH-1001 PS Vita perfectly. Im all digital (except one physical game) on Vita, so I dont care about the game cart holders, but they dont seem too good. Im sure they get the job done, though. The little flap with the game cart holders arrived a little bent; I think the sewing was a little off on mine. But what I really wanted was a light, tight fitting case, and this case does that perfectly without breaking the bank. I almost want to buy another one for my New 3DS.

> 3 day*** 11/09/2012 REVIEW UPDATE One of the nylon straps that others have complained about, broke a few days ago. So, I ended up snipping them both off with some wire cutters. I wasnt being forceful or anything, was just trying to get the Vita out. So far, Id still recommend the case and am keeping the 5-star rating as-is. *** ORIGINAL REVIEW: After browsing a number of different Vita cases and checking reviews, I decided to pull the trigger on this one. A few notes: - The case shipped to me does NOT have any sort of weird smell. Another reviewer reported theirs did. - The two straps used to keep the Vita in place can certainly be slightly annoying, but they absolutely hold the device in place well. Im undecided on snipping them off or not. - Other reviewers reported that the games would slide out of the sleeve easily -- I did NOT find this to be the case, and I tried -- hard -- to make it happen. - Construction of this case, overall, seems very good. Some of the stitching isnt perfect, but for under $9, its impossible to complain about. To be perfectly honest, I think this case is better than the felt sleeve that came with my PSP1000. I feel confident in saying the case could be dropped from a fair hight and no harm would come to the Vita inside. So far, Im overall extremely pleased with the case and will put it through some usage over the next few months. Should my opinion change at all, Ill be sure and update this review.

> 3 dayIve used this case for almost a year, and it has protected my Vita well. I usually put the Vita + case in a backpack or my pocket, and usually just toss them in with other items. The case has definitely protected my Vita against scratches or worse and given me peace of mind when transporting it. However, the slots to hold the game cartridges are very poor. Very often, Ive opened the case to find that one of the carts has slipped out or notice that one has slipped out as Ive closed it. If you open the case too quickly, I imagine that the carts could easily go flying out of it. Since Vita memory is so expensive, Ive opted to go physical with most of my collection. This flaw means I need to be very careful with my games.

Greater than one weekI bought this for my son for Christmas and I couldnt have made a better choice. Its just padded enough to protect the Vita when he throws it in his backpack to head to work or school. It holds a few memory cards and that all you really need, if you buy a case to hold the charger, then the compact size needed to made it truly portable goes out the window! The zipper is a very good quality and this one didnt have the intense odor others have spoken about. After it was opened on Christmas morning, we put it outside on the deck to air out ...just in case it did. The stitching is perfect and for the price, come on folks, this is a fantastic buy! When you think about what the Vita costs, this is a very needed purchase the day you buy it.

Greater than one weekThe case is sturdy but not 100% rigid. Theres a bit of give on the top. I always carry a soft cloth for my Vitas so suggest keeping it folded on top of screen inside case. As you can see from my photos, both Vita models fit inside! Its clearly designed for the newer 2000 Slim model, but the older 1000 model fits too due to the extra space at the top. There are basic slots/pouches for keeping mem and game cards. The case comes with a clip for fitting a strap or lanyard. The only minor design flaw are the straps - getting your Vita out is a bit fiddly, pulling them aside.

> 3 dayIts generally a good case; nothing too fancy. Fits the Vita 2000/slim well, is fairly sturdy, and at a decent price. The inside straps arent very useful, as its very difficult to get the Vita in/out of them, but they also arent necessary. The downside: a STRONG chemical smell. I saw other reviews mention it before buying, but figured it wasnt a big deal. However, after multiple dryer sheets and liberal use of febreeze, the smell is still there. It even clings to the Vita itself for quite a while after removing it from the case. Its not the end of the world, but is bothersome enough to make me consider another case.
