> 24 hourUpdate: 7/10/2021 I bought another DBPOWER projector and hoped it would be better this time. The picture and sound quality are very high. Streaming from miracast still didnt work. It is incompatible with my moto g(7) power android phone. Fan noise is acceptable. This time it comes with a nice carrying bag, too. Some reviewers said they didnt get one. So it depends on the seller. Highly recommend. There is static noise in the headphone, even when mute. Screen mirroring didnt work for my Moto android phone. Fan noise is quite loud. Using the headphone port reduces the external speaker volume considerably. If you connect it through Oppo blu ray player, which is not supported, it will show no or weak signal. In the picture mode, the hue section grayed out. The remote is sometimes unresponsive when navigating the menu. On the other hand, I like the 4P Keystone Correction, which works very well. It shows a perfect rectangle from a side angle that remembers its shape and position every time it turns on.

> 24 hourGood quality for the price so far as I can tell. easy to set up and good connectivity. Decent image. No major issues in the first week Ive had it Update: I use this all the time and it still works great! There are issues though. Most times when I try to play a vhs connected to the audio/video rca cable adapter it often is showing a weak signal warning and not working.... very frustrating because there is a signal until I press play and then it just wont transmit the signal... why???? Also this has a wireless device mirroring function which has such a bad delay between video and sound feed and the video feed is so jumpy that it is basically unusable. This projector has been great when connected with the hdmi, I have speakers connected through the headphone jack. Not worth buying if you plan to use it in other ways.

> 24 hourFor the price you pay, the picture quality is not bad, it is certainly bright enough as a home projector. However, we have been using this since early October 2021 and after Christmas we started to notice a brown spot appearing in the projection. It is now April 2022 and you can see the result in the picture attached. We are hoping our warranty will help us replace the machine, but so far we have not heard back from DBPower.

> 24 hourUPDATE- The company reached out to me and sent me a new one, so I decided to review it fairly. I believe I received a defective unit, so I highly recommend everyone who purchases this item to test it properly, because a working one of these is great: *** Upon opening the projector, you’re greeted by a very cute small backpack that opens all the way to reveal the projector and a few cables - hdmi, AV (I think), and the power cord. You also have a manual and a remote. The projector itself comes with a lens cap, and is absolutely amazing. You’re greeted with the home screen, which gives you access to each input, and the settings. I connected a Chromecast to this, but the screen share on it is amazing and reliable. I’m able to connect my phone within just a few seconds. The quality is definitely 1080p, and the focus is super easy. However, the part that stands out to me the most is keystone. I can put my projector anywhere in my room and keystone it so that it looks straight. This feature makes it so worth it, because it maintains the quality really well. In terms of brightness, the projector is pretty bright. At nighttime you might have to turn the brightness down, and you can see the screen in a light daylight, I’d definitely not recommend trying it in direct sunlight though. I watched a 3 hour movie and a few episodes of a show today, and it was great. No burning, no overheating, nothing. Only time will tell if it survives, but customer service is great to contact if you need any help or notice anything strange. The only thing I wish it had was Bluetooth, which can be solved with a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the unit’s USB port. Regardless, for the price, this is definitely the best and simplest projector you can buy if you’re hosting a party outdoors, indoors, or just need something quick and easy. —old review below— I received this projector this afternoon and was so pleasantly surprised when opening it. It arrived in a whole backpack! I was stunned. I began removing the accessories, setting everything up, and turned it on. It was beautiful, especially the keystone correction was amazing. Then comes nighttime. I turned it back on with my friends to watch my first movie on it. In the middle of the movie, my friend closest to the projector said he smelled something funny. We all looked over at the projector to see it smoking from the vents. The screen began turning brown, so we quickly unplugged the projector and put it on the floor so it doesn’t burn our table What started as such an amazing purchase turned into a disaster, in only a few hours. Looking at the other reviews I see similar things have happened after months of usage, but I also see so much positivity. Are these just defective units? I can’t imagine something that looked so promising can spontaneously combust. Now the projector shows brown all over the image, and I won’t keep it on for more than 2 minutes or else it heats up quickly. I really wish this worked for me.

> 24 hourThis is my second DB power projector. Although my first one was an older and cheaper model, it worked great for what I wanted to use it for which is backyard movies. This one has more lumens than my first one and has a sharper picture. I still feel like its best used in dark rooms or if you dont have a lot of lighting outside at night. It takes a while for the remote to function properly. I was holding buttons down for a long time. Other than that, Im pleased with the product and the backpack to carry it on trips is nice too!

> 24 hourI ordered the 780p 3,000L projector by mistake, so sent that back and ordered the 1080p 8,500L projector. We spent the night outside binge-watching SKY Castle (a Korean drama) on our new 150 screen. The neighbors took notice to it, and came over and watched SKY Castle with us. It certainly got the attention, and I think that people who see the clarity on the screen is envious...and may be ordering their own setup!!!

> 24 hourAfter a couple days of using it, I am quite satisfied with this projector. 1080p native, it looks so good, has really good image quality, You can use it during the day as well. Perfect to watch movies and TV series at night. Also, the speakers really surprised me, it is definetely much louder than my laptop, but to have a best audio experience you can plug in an external speaker or use headphones. The room gets a little hot because of the heat it generates, but the projector works fine. Overall, happy with its quality, and its worth the money. Recommended!

> 24 hourThis lense is bright enough for a descent picture in the day time and very vivid and crisp at night. Great picture quality and sound. The setup is so easy and quick and the overall fan sound is quieter than most other products. This projector even comes with a travel case and is a nice portable size

> 24 hourThe picture is very good. Not great but for the money…good. The fan is loud though. If using in a media room you can definitely hear it and it takes away from the experience.
