> 3 dayIve been using three of these for a few months now and Im very happy with them. I mostly use them for programming and gaming. They look great and I love being able to change their orientation easily. Portrait orientation is great for reading long documents or looking at source code, and the tilt and height adjustment is helpful to keep them in a comfortable position. I can easily view 3-5 source code files side by side on each of them. I mostly play Counter Strike and have not noticed any input lag, and Im pretty picky about that. There is no splash screen when you turn the monitors on. I like how configurable the monitor settings are. For example, you can make the power LED stay off while the monitor is on. I think smaller monitors (maybe 21 or 22 inch) might work better for a triple monitor setup because you wouldnt have to turn your head as much and they would take up less desk space, but these are great if you have a big desk. I have not been able to drive any of these monitors over VGA (I tried all 3 of the cables that came with them). The screen flickers and looks really bad. VGA isnt really meant to drive resolutions this high though, and it isnt a problem for me.

> 3 dayNice, crisp picture, fully adjustable stands, standard VESA mounts on the back, and a plug-shield on the back to hide the cables going in and out of the monitor. Im the IT director for my company and Ive purchased about a half-dozen of these. My only gripe is that they have a displayport plug INSTEAD of HDMI. While thats not a big deal for newer Dell business class towers, most computers more than a few years old do not have displayport. I have found that an HDMI-DVI adapter cable works just fine though, if you must use HDMI (for instance, on a laptop). Other than that, theyre great monitors and will most likely buy more.

> 3 dayNot the cheapest 24 you can buy. I did some research and came across a few nice reviews which were quite thorough. One in particular from the UK. Quite a thorough review. Well reviewed. What I like about this unit is the matte finish on the screen so reduced glare and the aluminum base styling. Needs to have a HDMI input but this is easily gotten around. Not sure why they provided every input but a HDMI. Now I hope it lasts a long time for the money I paid for it.

> 3 dayGreat resolution and very easy to set up. screen rotation is very helpful for those big excel sheets your working on. Only annoying thing is you need to order the Dell NCW95 MN008 USB Computer Soundbar AC511 separate if you want sound. For what you are paying for the screen it should be included but they are both excellent products.

> 3 dayVery impressed with this monitor. Picture quality is very good. Sharp text, good color, very bright and clear. The IPS display is wonderful. For a 1080p monitor, it doesnt get much better than this. The build quality is great and the adjustable stand is fantastic. Easy to raise, lower, rotate or turn into vertical mode. I will be buying another. Dell monitors are typically very good and this is no exception.

> 3 dayLOVE IT! I have vision problems and my big concern was that the native resolution on a larger monitor would be too high for me to see, but this is perfect. The screen is super bright, the colors are great. I still have one of my little 19 square monitors next to it and it looks so dim now.

> 3 dayI purchased the Dell P2214H IPS 22 LED monitor 6 months ago (used). It arrived in perfect condition. The display is crisp and clear. I use this system (Windows 7 Pro x64) for code editing and so I greatly appreciate the ability to swivel it 90 degrees, allowing many lines of code to be viewed/edited. I am not a gamer or a graphic artists so I cannot speak to its responsiveness or color reproduction. If I must purchase another monitor I will look for another just like it.

Greater than one weekI like the three-way adjustments (height, tilt and pivot); the clear but non-glare matte screen; the three USB2 ports, and the high resolution compared to 1680x1050 monitors. It came with a VGA and an HDMI cable, and the USB2 master cable. In fact, there is nothing to complain of except that this is not a 22 monitor. It is 21.5 diagonal, meaning that instead of 11.75 display height you get 10.5. The difference is very noticeable. Still, because of its good points, I would probably buy it again.

> 3 dayI am just getting ready to return the third sample of this monitor that has a YELLOW TINT issue. My original order was for two P2414H monitors to use side by side on a Mac Pro. One of the monitors from my original shipment has a beautiful crisp, clear, and color accurate display. The other monitor from the same delivery had a very annoying yellowish tint that affected all colors displayed on the screen and cannot be corrected by calibration. I returned the defective one for a replacement and received another monitor with the yellow tint problem. I returned the new replacement and received a third monitor with the same yellow tinted display. I have one sample of a correctly functioning monitor so I know that Dell is capable of manufacturing an excellent product. Ive tried to get Amazon to contact Dell to get the issue resolved. So far, all Amazon will do is continue to replace the monitors that I return or provide a refund. The experience has been extremely frustrating. I recommend not purchasing the P2414H until Dell acknowledges the problem, recalls the defective units, and FIXES the root cause. All of the units are Rev A00 (including the one that does not exhibit the problem). They were manufactured in July 2013.

> 3 dayOverall I like my monitor. Pros: - I love the ergonomic features. Height, tilt, swivel and pivot! - Text is OK. I code... a lot. Ill be updating later one after a year of use. Caveats: - I liked that it came with a DisplayPort. However I was sad to find out I couldnt use it because my laptop had a mini-displayport instead. My bad. I bought a mini-display port cable (Accell B143B-007J UltraAV Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.2 Cable) and the image quality is a lot better than using the hdmi-dvi cable cable I had. Text is sharper, cleaner. - Still, I think text could look better. I remember reading some reviews here about disabling some image enhancement feature, which I think I already disabled. Ill double-check this and update if I can get the text to look better upon further inspection. - I also bought this monitor to be able to hook up my micro-HDMI windows tablet. For some reason (maybe the cable) the text doesnt looks as good as in my office Dell U2412M. On my office set-up I use and micro-HDMI to HDMI cable. At home, I first tried the HDMI-DVI cable but everything looks fuzzy with that one. I was disappointed I couldnt use a HDMI-to-DVI adapter as the design of the back of the monitor doesnt have enough room. Ill need an HDMI 270 degree angled adapter (which I just bought) to make it work. Im hoping for the best here. Is all of this too much hassle? Its for you to decide. Its all in function of your time and money to make your set-up work for you. Cheers!
