> 3 dayThis is probably the best 1080p monitor we have tried. Note that it doesnt come with a speaker bar, and the holes for the correct speaker are covered with stickers! If you need one, youre looking for the AC511. I have a Dell rep at hand for better pricing, but if you dont, these speaker bars will be overpriced. Bright image, crisp, light, thin, all the cables you need. Great panel. Cant speak to its longevity, as we have only had them for a few weeks. Button array easy to use, unlike other offerings with sensor buttons which some people dont like. Packaging (besides the tape and a little plastic around some cables) is also fully biodegradeable--no styrofoam!

> 3 dayMy company bought one of these for me to use and I liked it so much that I bought a second, identical one. I dont do graphic design, color matching, play games, watch movies, or do anything that either might stress a monitor or require it to have some fancy set of specifications, so I cant tell you that this is the most fabulous monitor you can buy for the price. It is definitely not Brand X, however ... neither in function nor quality. If these models hold up as well as the other DELL monitors I have purchased (five others in the past), they are worth the extra $30 or so above what the cheapest ones cost. As the engineers play with these things and mostly not listen to actual end users, they seem to want to mess with the menu options, purported to improve them. Some menu adjustment interfaces are just downright awkward. The buttons (and what they do) and the menus called up by them on this monitor do not strike me as stupid or inherently unusable. Above average, certainly. Maybe not as flexible as the newer ViewSonic flat panel monitors, but then this monitor is not seriously intended to compete with one that costs twice as much. This is a perfectly serviceable 1920x1080 monitor for home or business use. The Dell AC511 USB Wired SoundBar is designed to attach to this DELL monitor, for which it is perfect in those environments, IMHO. Standard VESA attachment on the back for mounting. Everything you need.

> 3 dayI ordered a refurbished monitor to match the one I already have.. The model was the same but the base was different unfortunately.. However, the monitor works brilliantly and I couldnt be happier with the quality.. The company was promt with delivery and it was very fairly priced.. Thank you.

12-06-2025this is a decent monitor. i use it for coding in portrait mode and it is really convenient. as for gaming, the response time can be a little disappointing. In FPS, you can feel the lag between your hand and eyes. CAREFUL: theres a lot of defective products of this model they may send you. The defective ones has the notorious yellow tint problem. it is not very noticeable unless 1) you are a worker of graphics and color 2) you have a good model to compare from and 3) when you set the mode to warm and the yellow really strike your eyes. Ive only managed to have bought one without that yellow tint problem. Ive bought and returned 2 defective monitors back and forth. Amazon claims that they need to get to the bottom of this yellow tint problem with DELL and Im still waiting for their response. btw: all my defective ones was shipped from goodyear AZ. just beware.

> 3 dayDiagonal measurements can be deceiving since they leave some leeway when specing these monitors. The previous 20 monitor was 20.5 diagonal - this monitor is 19.5, but the same width - so buyer beware - these are WIDE seeming, but small for a 20 monitor and VERY WIDE when used as dual monitors. Aspect ratio explains that. They set up easily, and I agree with all the other assessments - they are sturdy, well made units, nice surface, excellent features. A second complaint is that the USB ports are not accessible... they are in the same panel with the video and power cables... you have to reach under and up to find the port and good luck if doing so on a desk you dont have rear access to. Convenient, but not the kind of ports you can use for USB keys and such as they are so hard to find back there. The monitor has a single USB port on the back that is not inside that area, but it too would be hard to find blindly. These would look slick in an ultra modern setting. The access panel comes with a cover as well, but of course, you cover that area and the USB ports are even harder to get to. GREAT PRICE, but the aforementioned cons should be considered.

> 3 dayI like the three-way adjustments (height, tilt and pivot); the clear but non-glare matte screen; the three USB2 ports, and the high resolution compared to 1680x1050 monitors. It came with a VGA and an HDMI cable, and the USB2 master cable. In fact, there is nothing to complain of except that this is not a 22 monitor. It is 21.5 diagonal, meaning that instead of 11.75 display height you get 10.5. The difference is very noticeable. Still, because of its good points, I would probably buy it again.

> 3 dayActually, this is a very nice and clear monitor but you might want to think twice about buying it. We had Dell monitor fail after about 3 months and trying to get a warranty replacement is time consuming and I am still waiting for Dell to confirm that my Amazon purchase is legitimate. I buy a lot of monitors for my company and after this experience Im thinking about dropping Dell from the list of suppliers. The first thing youll find if you try to get support is that the Dell site asks you for your SERVICE CODE or EXPRESS SERVICE TAG number which monitors dont have and theres no way around this prompt. The only thing you can do is wait on the phone line and not enter answers to any prompts until a person answers the phone. Then figure on spending 40 minutes answering questions, sending proof of purchase, and another couple of days waiting for your purchase to be verified (Im still waiting). Like buying a car, the car can be wonderful but if the service/support stinks that youll hate owning it. Dell needs to get their act together if they are going to sell monitors.

> 3 dayNice, crisp picture, fully adjustable stands, standard VESA mounts on the back, and a plug-shield on the back to hide the cables going in and out of the monitor. Im the IT director for my company and Ive purchased about a half-dozen of these. My only gripe is that they have a displayport plug INSTEAD of HDMI. While thats not a big deal for newer Dell business class towers, most computers more than a few years old do not have displayport. I have found that an HDMI-DVI adapter cable works just fine though, if you must use HDMI (for instance, on a laptop). Other than that, theyre great monitors and will most likely buy more.

> 3 dayI bought these after good experiences with the monitors I use at work (a newer version of them). They work great for the home use as well. The display quality is great with great color and brightness. I shopped around and look at a dozen monitors in this price range and can honestly say the build quality is among the best on these for the price. I highly recommend them!
