Dell P2414H 24-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

It is the same monitor my company provide. So I had previous experience with it. It has a high quality resolution and very dependable monitor.

This monitor is good for the price and I have had no problems viewing it. I turned the brightness down a good bit because it is really bright. I just dont like bright lights. Even after turning down the brightness, the works are still clear. I recommend this model.

Perfect monitor for home office use. Best thing, fully adjustable. I use dual monitors for my home office and bought a second one, I was so pleased with the first. I don’t game, so I can’t really speak to that. The picture quality is perfect for my work.

Actually, this is a very nice and clear monitor but you might want to think twice about buying it. We had Dell monitor fail after about 3 months and trying to get a warranty replacement is time consuming and I am still waiting for Dell to confirm that my Amazon purchase is legitimate. I buy a lot of monitors for my company and after this experience Im thinking about dropping Dell from the list of suppliers. The first thing youll find if you try to get support is that the Dell site asks you for your SERVICE CODE or EXPRESS SERVICE TAG number which monitors dont have and theres no way around this prompt. The only thing you can do is wait on the phone line and not enter answers to any prompts until a person answers the phone. Then figure on spending 40 minutes answering questions, sending proof of purchase, and another couple of days waiting for your purchase to be verified (Im still waiting). Like buying a car, the car can be wonderful but if the service/support stinks that youll hate owning it. Dell needs to get their act together if they are going to sell monitors.

Monitor has AMAZING color & vibrance with very little light bleeding. MONITOR CAN BE OVERCLOCKED ABOUT 20HZ OVER THE STANDARD. This may not be so for every monitor, but with an Nvidia video card I overclocked it to about 72Hz. Very Happy with all Dell monitors, great value for the price. Buttons are nice, not clunky and power button has a nice LED so you can turn on monitor in with no lights on. Turned it on and off about 20 times a day for years so it is VERY DURABLE.

There is a glitch in hos it responds after sleep mode. The picture is distorted but cycling the power corrects the problem. Otherwise Im satisfied with the quality of the monitor and its picture. I especially like having the ability to change into portrait view for writing and editing. Good value.

I bought two monitors and was concerned about the quality since it was such a good deal, but I have been pleasantly surprised. The only thing is between the two monitors, the coloring is off by a little. I just adjusted the coloring a bit, its not perfect but it will do! Overall, I would recommend it!

This monitor arrive packed simply but really well. Easy to put together and super easy to hook up. I had no idea what I was missing with my old Dell 17 inch monitor that came standard with my computer. This screen is beautiful and slides up and down easily for height adjustments, it also turns side to side for viewing. The screen does not appear to have blind spots where you see the screen but not the image. Havent turned it vertical but am aware I could. My husband thinks its a little too wide but its a matter of getting used to. Colors are brilliant! Great monitor at a really affordable price and free shipping. I love Amazon!

I bought this to connect to as a 2nd monitor for my MacBook Pro, in vertical position to be used for web surfing and coding. Initially I tried to connect it via an HDMI to DisplayPort CableMatters cable. This didnt work and I dont know why. So I had to use one of the two mini-DisplayPort connections (which wasnt my preference)... That said, its great, perfect size and rotates easily (love that the stand it comes with allows this). Im not a gamer FYI, but for regular use, its pretty awesome and a great price.

I purchased the Dell P2214H IPS 22 LED monitor 6 months ago (used). It arrived in perfect condition. The display is crisp and clear. I use this system (Windows 7 Pro x64) for code editing and so I greatly appreciate the ability to swivel it 90 degrees, allowing many lines of code to be viewed/edited. I am not a gamer or a graphic artists so I cannot speak to its responsiveness or color reproduction. If I must purchase another monitor I will look for another just like it.
