> 3 dayBeautiful moitor. Works well with Ubuntu 16.04 and Windows 10 Pro using DisplayPort connection. This is reported to be a good monitor for photo editing but I do that with a desktop Mac and a more expensive LaCie monitor. I have not bothered to calibrate the monitor because it looks fine for my purposes. Color photos which I have edited and printed from my calibrated system look right on this monitor so the factory calibration appears to be close.

Greater than one weekWhen I first plugged the monitor in with VGA I was disappointed that there was substantial ghosting (i.e., text would appear to have a shadow). I had the same problem with another VGA cable, so I bought an inexpensive HDMI to DVI cable (this monitor doesnt have an HDMI input) which solved the problem. The monitor looks great, is really easy to adjust, and I love the portrait mode for when I have to read through long documents. If youre in the market for a 24inch monitor for primarily work related tasks (no idea how it would perform for gaming), this is a great buy.

> 3 dayNice, crisp picture, fully adjustable stands, standard VESA mounts on the back, and a plug-shield on the back to hide the cables going in and out of the monitor. Im the IT director for my company and Ive purchased about a half-dozen of these. My only gripe is that they have a displayport plug INSTEAD of HDMI. While thats not a big deal for newer Dell business class towers, most computers more than a few years old do not have displayport. I have found that an HDMI-DVI adapter cable works just fine though, if you must use HDMI (for instance, on a laptop). Other than that, theyre great monitors and will most likely buy more.

Greater than one weekThere is a glitch in hos it responds after sleep mode. The picture is distorted but cycling the power corrects the problem. Otherwise Im satisfied with the quality of the monitor and its picture. I especially like having the ability to change into portrait view for writing and editing. Good value.

Greater than one weekWith all of the monitors out there today, its hard to tell the good from the bad without performing extensive research. This research needs to be combined with a bit of luck as it would be cost prohibitive for every site to cover the full product line from multiple manufacturers. The monitor that was replaced by the Dell P2014H was a 23 LG with an IPS panel. My prior effort to use a HP w2071d to achieve the desired resolution for a budget computer system resulted in excessive visual fatigue that would be exacerbated when dark images would appear. The backlighting on that 20 inch monitor was abysmal. My priorities for the display were: 1.) IPS panel 2.) 1600x900 resolution 3.) Digital input The Dell P2014H appeared to be the best of breed based on the aforementioned criteria. The overall image quality and performance is absolutely fantastic, especially at the price point that Amazon sells it for. On top of a solid image with fairly balanced backlighting (tad bit lighter in the lower right-hand corner, but not distracting or outside of expectations in this range), you get additional features that come in handy: 1.) Integrated USB hub: Using an AmazonBasics keyboard, the integrated USB cord was a bit too short for the placement of the mid-tower. Running the keyboard through the integrated hub resolved this issue, and made it easier to connect additional peripherals. 2.) Rotating display: While it would be nice to have an accelerometer or gyroscope to allow the monitor to auto-trigger the shift from portrait to landscape format, two clicks of the mouse and a quick 90 degree rotation of the monitor completely changes the dynamic of viewing websites, reading long documents, and even developing websites. The text is crisp and the mechanics of rotating the monitor results in a smooth and effortless adjustment. 3.) Adjustable height. The Dell engineers have built a solid and user-friendly stand that permits modification on the fly. Monitors that cost more than the P2014H are normally bound to a fixed stand and may result in discomfort of the neck during extended use. Be sure to download the latest utilities and drivers from Dells site to further optimize the image quality and power consumption of this display.

> 3 dayexcellent quality monitors- I bought 2 of them. I use programs with lots of menus so I need the screen real estate. I did a lot of research and found this monitor to be great for graphic design. I have them mounted via brackets together and I am happy. The colors and brightness are nice and vivid. I also like that the screen is matte and not reflective. So when you are in a bright lit room you dont see yourself in the monitor, like a mirror. I have an apple monitor that is reflective and I notice that I prefer the non-reflective displays such as this one.

Greater than one weekGreat resolution and very easy to set up. screen rotation is very helpful for those big excel sheets your working on. Only annoying thing is you need to order the Dell NCW95 MN008 USB Computer Soundbar AC511 separate if you want sound. For what you are paying for the screen it should be included but they are both excellent products.

> 3 dayI bought this to connect to as a 2nd monitor for my MacBook Pro, in vertical position to be used for web surfing and coding. Initially I tried to connect it via an HDMI to DisplayPort CableMatters cable. This didnt work and I dont know why. So I had to use one of the two mini-DisplayPort connections (which wasnt my preference)... That said, its great, perfect size and rotates easily (love that the stand it comes with allows this). Im not a gamer FYI, but for regular use, its pretty awesome and a great price.

> 3 dayI bought this not while ago, just couple of days ago. The monitor was delivered on time with good handling, including HDMI and VGA cable, and of course adapter as well. When I connected it to my laptop as an extended screen, it worked perfectly and flawlessly. The screen solution was at its best, high quality without blurry images whatsoever. This monitor was about right. It sits perfectly in my desk station without taking much space. Absolutely a must-have-monitor if you plan on extending your display.

> 3 dayThe monitor resolution was good and the brightness/contrast was adjustable using the monitor controls.
