> 3 dayHorrible - and I am a real Derwent fan. Sent them back. The leads are there but Derwent forgot to add colored pigment. They are almost as bad as Polychromos as they constantly break with a sharp point.

> 3 dayI love these; discovered them after falling in love with the Derwent Lightfast pencils. These work well in conjunction with the Lightfast, Prismacolors, Polychromos and on top of alcohol markers. Blendability is wonderful, and the Chinese White is my new favorite white pencil. Just outstanding. Lovely, lovely pencils!

> 3 dayLove love love this color selection. Most sets have so many colors that I will never use, this is very muted and almost just right. Ill have to carry another tin with some additional colors for landscape drawings, but I am very happy with these. Pics are color swatches on cold pressed watercolor paper and black painters tape. The tape is much smoother and the color laid down nicely without much pressure, the more toothy paper needed a lot of attention to get pigment into the pits. Hope that helps give an idea of the softness. No tips were broken on arrival so hopefully they will all be intact as I sharpen them down.
