> 3 dayThese pencils are a perfect addition the other drawing pencils I use. The color palette is beautiful for anything natural: landscapes, animals, buildings, and anything needing a muted color tone. I already have and use a lot of other Derwent pencils and use a combination of all of them. These have a nice texture and broad core/tip that makes layering nice. I also like how they look on black or tinted paper.

> 3 dayI love the subtle colors, the way they blend together. I have other colored pencils I use for a pop of color but these are the earthy colors you just dont have in other sets. They are richly pigmented, not just faded versions of deeper colors.

> 3 dayThese pencils are very smooth and have a really nice selection of natural colors. The barrels are a bit larger than other brands, but they do fit in my hand nicely. They are truly a pleasure to use

> 3 dayI would not call these the best pencils for coloring (as in coloring books), they leave behind a lot of white spaces on the paper and the color palette is very limited. But they are soft and nice to use for sketching/in a sketchbook. Or to use in nature studies, etc. I think of them as a ice alternative to charcoal or pastels, but creamy.

> 3 dayThe Derwent product holds true to its reputation. However, the plastic case the pencils lie in came damaged without the metal case showing any damages. So it was damaged before inserting into case. Otherwise, the pencils are fine and undamaged.

> 3 dayGreat pencils. Pigment is smooth and opaque. Will be a go to pencil for me. If only they came in larger sets (hint hints Derwent!)

> 3 dayI haven’t used them much yet. All I had were watercolor pencils, so I wanted this set. The metal container of pencils was sitting on the bottom of the box with another item I had ordered. I’m concerned that the lead within the pencil might be broken. Guess I’ll find out.
