> 24 hourThis product works great on the jobsite and I am glad I received the White Dim light version of the DCL043 instead of the Dim Red light one. The only difference is one is DCL043 Type 1 and the other is Type 2. Both work great at home to as you can see a decent distance too.

> 24 hourI originally used this light at my work’s shop. Decided to order one for myself. Good light for all sorts of jobs. I use it all the time. Battery life just depends on what size battery you’re using, but I typically put one of my 1.3ah or 2ah ones on it and it pretty much lasts all day, with more juice to spare. Brightness is fairly decent, however, for the most part, I’ve used this for more “close up” jobs where I didn’t need to light up a whole room or a larger area, just the area close to me. So on that front I cannot express whether it would be good for larger projects where you would need bigger areas lit up. Night vision (?) I have no clue, but I’ve used it to see things in dark basements, under vehicles at night, and in unfinished rooms with no live electric. In All of these instances, this light has proven its worth. I’m extremely satisfied with it.

> 24 hourLiving in the country flashlights are just one of those things that are pretty much required. Cheap flashlights are great but when you only see retinas of an animal it makes it hard to discern a deer from a coyote. I have had a streamlight fire Vulcan (https://www.amazon.com/Streamlight-44450-Standard-Flashlight-Shoulder/dp/B001CWQQOO/ref=sr_1_12?hvadid=77996657376902&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvqmt=e&keywords=firefighter+streamlight+flashlights&qid=1574024962&sr=8-12) which I cannot give high enough praise - it pours a concentrated beam of light easily a 1,000 feet and a charge lasts a long, long time. I expected to use this flashlight more for work than at night, but I quickly found that this light has the reach of the stream light but a much larger field of view. At 1,0000 feet the stream light beam may be 20 ft wide, at 1,000 feet this beam may be closer to 100-150 feet. it provides an impressive field of view, but the red light is also great for use for more close up work and does not attract those summer pests. The fact that it works with all my 20v max batteries is just one more plus. I do whish the light had two bright settings, but honestly am extremely happy to have it despite that oversight. When the power has gone out the red light seems to hardly drain the battery and provides great indoor illumination just to set on a table and shoot the beam straight up.

> 24 hourThis thing is really bright. 2 brightness levels with the press of a switch. Head angles 90 degrees. Little pricey but, you get what you pay for.

> 24 hourBought this as a gift for my brother-in-law. He already had one from a set he bought and wanted a second one. He was really happy with it. I also have one myself from a set I bought and use it practically everyday when I go outside after dark.

> 24 hourI love these heavy duty work lights. Make sure you use the Dewalt batteries in this, or the aftermarket Dewalt batteries. Some people say those batteries are interchangeable, but I dont wan to risk ruining my batteries or my tool. Also the metal thing is so you can hang it whilst working. Try to get this on sale as this are kind of expensive for a flashlight, but I do really enjoy that its heavy duty.

> 24 hourGood flashlight. If you already have the batteries. Amazon miss represents the light. It does not have a red light bulb or setting Also no where in the paperwork does it mention a red light setting. Don’t know where marketing gets there info on this item but it’s incorrect. Will keep it. Just advising customers. So you won’t be disappointed. Till Amazon corrects the marketing of the light.

> 24 hourI use this for around the house -- time spent doing light home improvement and automotive tasks. I simply bought too powerful of a light for my uses and would have been just as happy with something less expensive and less bright. Still, my complaint is that I overspent. I always have some dewalt batteries charging for my cordless drill so its convenient to be able to use the same batteries for my flashlight. The flashlight doesnt Stand up without a battery and needs to be laid on its side, but this just sounds like Im nic-picking. Its a 5 star product. Battery life seems to be about 4-6 hours on the brightest setting with my smallest dewalt battery, its kind of annoying to have to swap them out I guess, so four stars for battery life 5 stars all around for everything else. Its way too good of a flashlight for me.
