The product is great but why add special instructions for the delivery driver if they are not going to follow them. Leave on porch real simple. Not at mail box out at the road.

I guess I was looking more for a solid disc not one that looks like a disc with pieces of sand paper attached to it. For a grinder it may be alright but I was a little disappointed with my purchase.

Ive used several of these (60 grit and others) for grinding welds, deburring, chamfering and similar tasks. These are pretty good - they cut quickly, leave a decent finish, and last a while. That being said, I prefer the Walter 15W456 - they cut a bit more quickly and you can trim them when theyre used up to get a bit more life out of them.

Im using it to grind down excess glue off of aluminum tubing, works great for that purpose. Only bit of warning is that if youre grinding dried glue wear a respirator and eye protection. Puts that stuff into a fine mist from the sanding and will get in your eyes. Not pleasant. Otherwise the sanding disc works awesome.

I use for trimming goat hooves. Works like a charm. I do a quick trim with clippers, then a finish grind to get the hooves flat. Works great. Had one goat with a advanced case of hoof rot, once treated and stopped, a few trims with this grinder had all his feet back in shape, could not do with my hand clippers as there was too much dead hoof material to remove, this made it much simpler and surprising to me, the goats didn;t seem to mind. All their hooves are much more consistent

Expecting a great flap disc because its Zirc diamonds and its expensive. But it seems just the opposite. The cheap discs cut much faster, leave the same finish, last longer. The cheap discs cut faster. Whether removing paint, mill scale etc or more heavy use removing metal, grinding welds, the cheap discs do it notably faster. With the cheap disc you can run the grinder down the work and make a wide stripe of sanded area. With the DeWalt, you try and run a stripe and you get a really thin sanded spot flanked by a scuff mark. The cheap disc sands a stripe about 4-5 times wider than the DeWalt. The cheap discs last longer. On the DeWalt disc, the area near the edge of the disc becomes worn down and very shallow VERY quickly. The Other discs wear much more evenly. Once the DeWalt is worn, its like grinding with the EDGE of a regular grinding wheel. You no longer get that brushed metal look to the work that you expect with a flap disc. The DeWalts and the cheapies are both China made. Im going back to the cheapies.

Love these wheels that just screw on. You dont have to mess with taking the locking nut on and off of grinder. Used these pads for years and always loved em. They last surprisingly long. Wont ever get another brand of flap discs. DeWalt cutoff wheels on the other hand, leave a lot to be desired.

I bought these to prep metal straps for a welding bend test, and they do what they are supposed to do and they seem like they last a little longer then the previous brands that i have purchased. The price on amazon seems to be a little lower than what they are at the stores in my area.
