DEWALT DW8311 4-1/2-Inch by 5/8-Inch-11 36 Grit Zirconia Angle Grinder Flap Disc

Is not the same threads as one bought previously- so if you dont use it immediately are your just out of luck? please take a look at my previous Dewalt (and other) 5/8-11 thread purchases- there is something wrong with this disc

Welder must have. These are great,and work great for sharpies lawn mower blades as well.

I guess I was looking more for a solid disc not one that looks like a disc with pieces of sand paper attached to it. For a grinder it may be alright but I was a little disappointed with my purchase.

I used this with a 4.5 Inch DeWalt Grinder. It installed easily and I didnt find that it slipped at all. I like the flaps because it allowed me to have a more smooth finish on the aluminum I was working with compared to a traditional grinding wheel. It doesnt bounce when you press it against the surface.

Hard to criticize this product. Love not using wrenches to change wheels out and is long lasting

Im serious about blade care and these discs are the best way to hone a blade without taking off too much material. They last a long time and are easy to work with.

These disks work well. Dewalt made a good, solid product

Excellent on fiberglass. Really cuts through so be careful. I found controlling it was easy after a little practice. Lasts long time.

I have always used these types of grinding discs for cleaning up metal surfaces. They dont chatter and when light pressure is applied the surface is polished. They work better and last longer is pressure is kept to a minimum so the work piece doesnt heat up, even just the pressure of the grinder is enough as these discs remove material quite fast.
